Consider this the SDCC edition of Geek Deals. "Man of Steel" blu-ray and dvd pre-orders are available on Amazon. At WB's panel yesterday, Zack Snyder said the sequel film will feature Batman and that it till contain elements of Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns." The new Marvel NOW! series for "Guardians of the Galaxy" will be released in September and is a good introduction to the characters in James Gunn's film. While overshadowed a bit, the panel for "X-Men: Days of Future Past" received nothing but positive buzz. There was even a tease that Wolverine will be getting his traditional costume in the film. Ed Brubaker's run on Captain America is being used as the basis for Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier. Brubaker is said to be making a small cameo in the film as well.
