The script and direction provided by the studio are the reasons Green Lantern had issues. Since Ryan Reynolds was in it they wanted it to appeal to more females and the writing was sad at best.

@Jazzman

I'll be there and will most certainly give some feed back to WB. I won't be shocked if WB doesn't make some kind of announcement at the con movie wise, to move on from the Green Lantern debacle.

@Intruder

No surprise regarding TDKR not being there since Nolan was a no show with the last two bat films.(He held TDK panel at Chicago-con in 2007,about three weeks after Comic-con) Likewise TMOS is in the same boat The Amazing Spider-Man was in last year.(Lead actor cast but not filming yet) Since they had no film to show off,Sony thought it would be counter productive to roll out Andrew Garfield and Mark Webb that year and choose to wait a year. WB can not afford another half ass Green Lantern style panel (incomplete effects)like last years con which put that movie behind the eight ball with fans from the start. Since TMOS is set to drop in late 2012,(I doubt it will be Dec,more likely Nov 2012 since WB is distributing both films) they will have a proper debut next year with the full cast (Crowe and Costner have to on that panel) and a sick trailer.TMOS will likely face only one CBM in the holiday 2012 season,that being The Wolverine and absolutely must be a hit since the bat franchise will go into reboot phase after TDKR and WB needs a big time franchise to build a stable of DC films around. Green Lantern dropped that ball,this is a job for Superman.

When I wrote "distributing both films" I meant the Hobbit was the other tent pole WB will release in December.

Weird that it starts the same day that Cap opens.
