EXCLUSIVE: Cowboys & Aliens Red Carpet Interviews

EXCLUSIVE: Cowboys & Aliens Red Carpet Interviews

I was lucky enough to spend Saturday evening on the red carpet during the Cowboys & Aliens world premiere. Find all of our interviews from the event in one place and see what the stars, writers, producers and crew had to say about the film!

If you were to call or text my phone Saturday night, it would have went straight to voice mail as I was a little busy during the Aliens & Cowboys red carpet event and world premiere for the film. I'll be honest, it was the first event of its kind that we've attended, but Jim and I are both crossing our fingers that it's not the last.

A special thanks goes out to NBC & Universal for inviting us to the event, as well as to Mark Sutherland who kindly stepped in to run the camera while I conducted the interviews!

As you'll see from the number of videos below, we were able to grab quite a few of the stars, as well as the writers and producers. I tried to keep the questions within the realm of what I though our readers would like to hear about... Specifically the tie-ins with the comics and if the cast and crew were familiar with it.

Keep an eye out for my review of Cowboys & Aliens, which will be hitting tomorrow!

The only people that we didn't get to speak with (that we REALLY wanted to) were Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Jon Favreau, Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard... Unfortunately they didn't talk to many people, so were weren't the only ones left out in the cold.

Blockbuster filmmaker Jon Favreau directs Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford in an event film for summer 2011 that crosses the classic Western with the alien-invasion movie in a blazingly original way: COWBOYS & ALIENS. Joined by an arsenal of top moviemakers—Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci—Favreau brings an all-new action-thriller that will take audiences into the Old West, where a lone cowboy leads an uprising against a terror from beyond our world.

The film opens THIS Friday, July 29, 2011.

Way to represent... "big nerds"! :) I'm thinking now you need to add a new video segment to CBM called 'the dungeon master' where you DM an adventure with different celebrities. Maybe they'll be more cooperative than us chaotic-evil thieves were back in the day :)

Favreau gave my cousin 2 tickets to the screening just for wearing an Iron Man t-shirt. He said it was crazy as hell.

Okay, I made an CB account just so I can comment on this article. So I live in San Diego and this was my fifth year at Comic-Con. Usually nothing special happens, then out of no where, I win passes to the World Premiere of Cowboys & Aliens. I obviously go the next day on Saturday, and it was crazy.

We watched it in the Civic Theatre in downtown San Diego which seats a little more than 2,000 people, and it was pretty full. We got see the red carpet with the cast and other celebrities who wanted to watch. The movie was really great, and there was this huge after party with the cast walking around. Awesome music, awesome food, and the cast and celebrities were walking around.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet any of them, but Jon Favreau was being bombed by fans and he was signing stuff, too bad I couldn't get to him. It's so awesome that you got to interview these celebrities!!! && haha at Olivia Wilde being interviewed by three at a time.
