20th Century Fox's and Marvel's Daredevil earned an estimated $43.5 million for the three-day weekend (tomorrow's President's Day total will also be counted towards the weekend). The comic book adaptation pulled in $15.9 million on Friday, $15.8 million on Saturday and $11.8 million on Sunday. Daredevil was released in 3,471 theaters and budgeted at $75 million.

The total marks the second-biggest opening ever for a film in February. Only MGM's "Hannibal" made more ($58M) when it debuted this same month in 2001.

Stay tuned for the four-day weekend totals tomorrow!
