DareDevil is one of the most popular and one of the darkest superheros out there and David Slade is one the smarter directors out there, all though with the DareDevil reboot at a slow pace and David Slade's lack of motivation, one would wonder if Slade will leave the project and if it ever gets off of it's feet. But I think that David Slade's DareDevil reboot will be out within the next couple years and start production sometime between the last quarter of 2013 and 2015. I've stated earlier in the year how I think that David Slade could be for DareDevil what Christopher Nolan is for Batman, a perfect fit. Plus try and think about it visually, picture this

and picture that visual look but change it to Hell's Kitchen, and DareDevil fighting crime.

I don't know about you guys but I think that would be pretty fricking cool. Now I know the rumor has been completely denied but I wanna share my thoughts for Josh Hartnett as Matt Murdock/Daredevil. No. Yes, I do like him as an actor and I think he needs to find that breakout role in hollywood. But DareDevil would have been the wrong answer, his film cred doesn't convince me that he would or should be the next DareDevil. I also feel that David Slade isn't all that interested in DareDevil right now cause, after all he's the director. He overlooks the scripts and everything (despite what the studio would have you think) and I think he just isn't confident in any of the scripts that have been written. I mean, we all know that translating a comicbook to the big screen is no easy feat. Plus, would you rather have them take their time with it and make sure it's of quality before they go any further or do you want another Mark Steven Johnson, DareDevil film? That's just my thinking any ways, also I stated in the article I spoke of earlier that at the time, I thought Born Again is a great idea to put into film. But I don't think it's something that should be translated to film for a first movie of (what I would think would be a proposed or hopeful trilogy) isn't such a good idea.

I know it's hard to write an editorial about a film with little progress, but I figured I'd take another stab at it. Whatya think? Agree? Disagree? Comment below and be respectful.

Daredevil is a tricky movie for the big screen. It has become more difficult with the success of the Batman trilogy because the best way to do Daredevil is dark and gritty, in which case it will be immediately compared to TDK.

Mainstream audience may find it unoriginal as they perceive it as a morphing of Batman and Spiderman. I fear Daredevil may go the way of Punisher or Ghost Rider.....

@AcidicHeart: Actually I don't care if the right's go back to Marvel or not, I'm of the opinion a quality superhero movie can be made by pretty much any studio with the right minds and reasonable budget.

@BattlinMurdock: I just watched the trailer for Hard Candy, just to get a feel of the look of the movie and I prefer his look from 30 Days of Night. Yes, DareDevil was popular before Miller got a hold of the character but I prefer his darker stories. It fits the hero's name DareDevil. At least to me it does.

if thats true about the rights reverting back to marvel at the end of the year if pricipal photography doesn't start that would be fantastic news.

marvel studios daredevil & punisher in a movie together would be so f*ckin bad ass,i wouldn't mind seeing a daredevil movie done in the style of the raid.

daredevil must get to the top floor penthouse sweet of fisk towers if he wants to get his hands on the kingpin, but there is a slight problem each floor on the way up has one of daredevil's classic foes.

-the owl
-bushwacker
-typhoid mary
-gladiator
-bullseye
-mister hyde
-mister fear
-lady bullseye
-nuke

-the kingpin (final fight)
