Collider reports that Warner Bros. is planning an animated feature called Super Pets, which will follow the adventures of various DC characters' loyal animal companions.

The LEGO Batman Movie and The Ninjago Movie writer Jared Stern is on board to direct.

There's no word on whether the movie will be based on DC’s Legion of Super-Pets, the Cartoon Network series or will be something wholly original, but it's a safe enough bet that at least the most well-known characters - Krypto; Damian Wayne’s dog Titus; Aquaman’s seahorse Storm etc - will feature.

Considering LEGO Batman and Teen Titans GO are the only successful DC films outside of Wonder Woman, why not? Keep making animated DC films WB.

OH MY GOD, LOBO HAS HIS DOLPHINS LOL

In case you didn't know, Lobo and Aquaman once fought and Lobo wouldn't kill Aquaman after learning he was raised by dolphins because Lobo loves dolphins. It's basically the MARTHA scene done years before and better lol

Krypto really needs to be a part of the main DC movies moving forward. don't tell me having Krypto in a Superman movie wouldn't be awesome.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - that's exactly why DC should do it, break new ground, accept the more outlandish concepts. and who doesn't like dogs anyway? it would be an instant buy for the general audiences and fans.
