ONCE UPON A DEADPOOL: The Merc Drives Fred Savage To Let An F-Bomb Slip In This New TV Spot

Well, almost slip! There may be no F-bombs allowed in this family friendly version of Deadpool 2, but Wade Wilson's antics don't exactly inspire a profanity free environment. Check out the new TV spot...

The Merc With a Mouth will return to theaters this Christmas for a family-friendly adventure titled Once Upon a Deadpool, and we have the first TV spot featuring a few snippets of new footage.

Most of the shots are carried over from the previously released trailer, but we do get a funny scene with Ryan Reynolds' Merc With a Mouth stopping a kidnapped - actually, make that “unsolicited locationa enhanced” - Fred Savage from letting an F-bomb slip out right at the end.

Check out the promo below, and let us know if you plan on seeing Once Upon a Deadpool in theaters.

"Fox has been asking for a PG-13 basically since the start in 2006," Reynolds explained in a recent interview. "I've said no since 2006. Now, this one time, I said 'Yes' on two conditions. First, a portion of the proceeds had to go to charity. Second, I wanted to kidnap Fred Savage. The second condition took some explaining..."

Once Upon a Deadpool is set for release on December 12.

@knocturnalzen10 - others could play the role I wouldn’t say he was “Born to play the role” with that being said he’s a great fit for the role for the time being

@knocturnalzen10 - I agree with ya 100% I’m just saying everyone always thinks only one person can play a part. My son was upset when Andrew Garfield was casted as spiderman thinking no one else could play spiderman now we on spiderman number 3 just so many young actors out there that I think can do all these parts. But yeah I’d love for Reynolds to play Deadpool for atleast another decade

I admit, I loved the Marvel/Fox burn in the trailer. If you’re going to be self aware, go all in.

@MixMasterA -
She has a new novel being released soon so she decided to attract attention via a photoshopped picture and a sea of twitter followers.

When this started to work it took the attention away from Creed 2, so MBJ trying to get the attention back on Creed II, decides to invite her to the Q&A to meet him. This way attention would shift back to MBJ and Creed 2 instead of on her.

Fox is so insecure. They just can't let Marvel go without putting off their movies or releasing unnecessary cash grabs.

Such a gimmick, releasing a movie twice because a rating change.. I won't be seeing this sort of thing at the theater, but I will be curious enough to see it on someone else's dime.

Y'all apparently have different idea of what family friendly is. PG-13 is not family-friendly. A movie is family friendly when small children can safely see the movie without parental supervision, but parents can still enjoy it. That would be a rated G movie, as in General audience. PG and PG-13 are not family friendly.
