Is DEADPOOL 3 Director Shawn Levy Teasing An Appearance From Mark Ruffalo's Hulk?

We recently learned that Free Guy director Shawn Levy would take the helm of Deadpool 3, and the filmmaker has now shared a Tweet which has led to speculation that The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) could appear.

Following the recent news that Shawn Levy (Free Guy) would be taking the helm of Deadpool 3 for Marvel Studios, the director has sent speculation into overdrive by sharing a behind-the-scenes shot from his latest movie, The Adam Project.

Levy Tweeted out a photo of stars Ryan Reynolds and Mark Ruffalo lying head-to-head on the ground alongside what appears to be some kind of carrier case with stickers of their respective Marvel Comics characters. The director tagged both actors, and added the caption; "Little did I know..."

Of course, Levy could simply be referring to the fact that he didn't realize he'd be boarding the Deadpool threequel when he took the snap, but there is always a chance he is teasing an appearance from the Green Goliath. The movie will be set in the MCU, after all, and we know Bruce Banner/Hulk will play a significant role in Marvel Studios' Phase 4.

Even if nothing has been finalized, we'd be surprised if Levy, Reynolds and Ruffalo didn't at least discuss the possibility of another collaboration while working on The Adam Project!

Right now, all we really know about the still untitled Deadpool project is that it will be rated R, and Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin penned the script. There are rumors that the Merc With a Mouth could show up in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but Reynolds recently denied any involvement.

No release date has been announced, but we should begin to get more regular updates now that a director has been announced.
