Gina Carano Joins DEADPOOL As 'Angel Dust'; Daniel Cudmore Set To Return As 'Colossus'

Fast & Furious 6 actress and former mixed martial artist Gina Carano has closed a deal to star in Deadpool alongside Ryan Reynolds, T.J. Miller, and Daniel Cudmore, whose returning as Colossus.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress and former mixed martial artist Gina Carano is all set to join Ryan Reynolds in the long-awaited and highly-anticipated Deadpool movie. Best known for her role in Fast & Furious 6, Carano will be portraying the mutant known as Angel Dust who, in the comics, has powers of berserker strength. In addition to to this new cast addition, THR also reveals that Deadpool will see the return of Colossus, who will be portrayed once again by actor Daniel Cudmore. Anyhow, Gina Carano also joins T.J. Miller, who is said to have mystery "comic relief" role in Deadpool. Directed by Tim Miller, the film will explore Wade Wilson's origins, which involved him "dying of cancer" and "undergoing a procedure that is supposed to cure him but ends up twisted and scarred while also imbued with super-powers," and will be released on February 12, 2016. FOX is crossing over their properties more than Marvel Studios already. Because you HARDLY ever see, The Avengers team up outside The Avengers movies. But we are seeing DeadPool team up with Colossus and and it's not even a X-Men movie.
