JAKKS Pacific is a leading manufacturer of toy and consumer products, so we weren't exactly surprised to learn that Disney had enlisted the company to produce a line of dolls, roleplay, and dress-up toys for Disney's live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.
We were recently fortunate enough to take a closer look at some of those, including the "Under the Sea Exploring Ariel Doll." As well as singing Halle Bailey's already-iconic rendition of "Part of Your World," it lights up and also talks and sings when played with in water. Bundled with heaps of fun accessories, this wonderfully stylised take on the movie's title character is a must for any young fan of Ariel.
It's available for $44.99 on Target, Walmart, and Amazon.
The same could be said for "Ariel's Two-Piece Mermaid Fashion Dress," inspired by the title character's appearance in the movie.
The deluxe purple and blue two-piece fashion set has authentic story-inspired details, such as delicate ruffles, sparkly sequins, and mermaid scale designs. The separate skirt also includes gorgeous shimmery fabric with beautiful flowy tail fins, and comes in sizes 4-6x.
Once The Little Mermaid is released, we're sure a whole new generation of young Disney fans will want to become Ariel, and this costume will help them do so. Retaining for $29.99, you'll find it on Target, Walmart, and Amazon.
Finally, we got to take a look at King Triton's All-Powerful Trident, and this is cool enough to make even Aquaman jealous!
The amazing motion-activated feature allows you to recreate epic and exciting moments from The Little Mermaid by waving the trident to activate lights and sounds inspired by the magical trident in the movie. This too can be found on Target and Amazon and retails for $19.99.
Again, having been able to check these toys out, we're confident that any younger fans of The Little Mermaid will find something to love when they let their imaginations run wild for a trip under the sea with these JAKKS Pacific products.
