Benedict Cumberbatch Is Anxious To Return As DOCTOR STRANGE Despite AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Death

It's not easy for a number of MCU actors to discuss their futures seeing as they died in Avengers: Infinity War but Benedict Cumberbatch is clearly anxious to return as the Sorcerer Supreme down the line.

At the end of Avengers: Infinity War, a number of big name characters turned into dust after Thanos used the power of the Infinity Gauntlet to wipe out half of the universe. As a result, it's going to be a hard year for Avengers: Infinity War actors to discuss their futures beyond that movie but Benedict Cumberbatch isn't shying away from making it clear that he wants to play Doctor Strange again.

It's coming up to two years since Doctor Strange was released and it's hard to imagine Marvel Studios not having plans for a sequel in Phase 4 revolving around the Sorcerer Supreme's adventures.

"Oh, Strange? Just try to stop me. That’s all kind of lined up as far as I’m aware, but who knows? I mean, you know, the problem is, how does he get out of where he’s at. But that’s the only thing. I’m bits of dust at the moment as far as I understand. So you really have to ask [Marvel Studios President] Kevin Feige. But as far as wanting to do it, yeah, I would love to go back into that role."

Common sense says that Stephen Strange will be back among the living by the time the credits roll on Avengers 4 and there has to be a very strong chance he'll ultimately join the ranks of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. What do you guys think comes next for the hero? Share your thoughts in the usual place.

Man I'm old. Saw the movie recently and I didn't even remember he's dead.

Well, haven’t seen it yet but knew I’d have to stop visiting the site eventually. Site has been decent-ish with spoilers in titles till now. My own fault I suppose but still, [frick] you man! Cmon. I’ve been spoiled on Spidey, Strange, Hawkeye’s wife, Gamora and Vision. Doubt there’s much point seeing it now, just hope there’s something that hasn’t been revealed to me! Anyway I can’t see the film till next year (got my reasons) but guess this is my last day on the site! What an idiot I am for visiting it a month after the movie came out!
