At the end of
Doctor Strange, Kaecilius and his followers were pulled into Dormammu's Dark Dimension and transformed into the Mindless Ones in the process. Time will tell whether they ever return to cause problems for Steven Strange, but this newly revealed concept art from Jerad S. Marantz spotlights a very cool, comic accurate take on the villains.
The Sorcerer Supreme has been plagued by The Mindless Ones for decades, and they even targeted Spider-Man in the 500th issue of
The Amazing Spider-Man when New York City came under attack.
Rumour has it that Nightmare or the Scarlet Witch will be the lead villain/s in
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, so the odds of The Mindless Ones factoring into the sequel seem slim, especially as Dormammu was defeated back in 2016 (much to the disappointment of some fans).
