I'll explain why I chose them. As a fair warning, these pics aren't the best edited, but I did my best. So don't tell me I need to work on my photoshop work, because I'm aware of it. Also, it won't just be 80's slashers. Let's begin.
Nick Fury-Pinhead
I chose Pinhead because he seems to be the most powerful of the slasher villains. With that, it would make sense he'd be the one to bring them together like Nick Fury did. Plus, he dose have a similar presense to Fury.
Terminator-Ironman
I know he's not a horror character, but he fits Ironman best, for obvious reasons. The metal suit is the key feature here. I'm aware that he's no longer a villain, but I'm reffering to the one from the first Terminator film.
Wolfman-Hulk
I think this speaks for itself. Laurence Talbot and Bruce Banner both have another side that can't be easily controlled. It's interesting to note that Whedon mentioned this comparison in The Avengers commentary.
Rawhead Rex-Thor
I chose Rawhead for this because both him and Thor are gods. Thor is a Norse god and Rawhead is a Pagan. I think it's a fitting matchup, even if Rawhead dosen't speak. Don't worry, he won't be the only one who can't on this like that.
Jason X-Captain America
Before anyone jumps on me for this choice, let me explain. Jason X has a very similar background to Cap's: Both were frozen and brought back to life years later. Interestingly, they got new suits later on.
Carrie-Black Widow
This was one of the hardest castings, since there arn't many female slasher villains. Then I remembered Carrie, who is one of Stephen King's best creations. Granted she isn't much of a villain, nor is she a normal human like Black Widow, but I'd be crazy to leave off a Stephen King creation and this fit best in my opinion.
Michael-Hawkeye
Another hard choice, but I figured that Michael shouldn't be left off the list. It became sort of a "it'll work" moment, even though to my knowledge Michael hasen't used a bow and arrow before. The best I can make of the comparison is the fact both don't usally miss their target.
Pumpkinhead-Loki
I needed someone who was an equal match towards Rawhead, and Pumpkinhead seemed to fit. Other then name, the two characters do have a similar body structure and match eachother in terms of strength. Plus, like Rawhead, it isn't easy to kill Pumpkinhead.
Djinn-Agent Coulson
Let me start off by saying, this is my least favourite of these pics, because it dosen't look as good as the others. As for the pairing, it's sort of the opposite: Coulson started out little and grew big and Wishmaster started out big, but grew little as the series progressed. What that means is Djinn started out big, but ended up becoming a mess with the later two sequels, while Coulson at first didn't have a very large role, and ended up having a bigger role then what we thought.
Ginger-Agent Hill
Ginger Snaps is another film that gets overlooked often. Most people forget she's a very important character to the Werewolf genre, and an important female villain in horror. People over look Hill in the sense she didn't have a large role, but those who do forget she played a big part in The Avengers.
Well, that's the horror characters as The Avengers. I'll take any questions about the choices, and no one remind me of my photoshop work. Tommorrow, I'm taking two slashers and the actors who played them to see who did it best.
