Batman: Arkham World lead up

Batman: Arkham World lead up

This is my idea of how they should lead up into a third Batman: Arkham game. The title is Arkham World.

Twenty Years Ago:
Batman walks out of Arkham City with Joker in his arms. He does not answer Commissioner Gordon’s questions of what happened. Harley Quinn walks to Sionis Industries crying loudly. Two-Face’s men try to attack her, but they fail to even touch her. Joker’s men just look at her. She arrives at Sionis with no more tears just anger. One of Joker’s men tries to make her feel better. She looks at him and attacks him. He is killed by her through a sheer sense of her anger. She enters the main office of Sionis. She opens a closet door. Crying is heard in the room. She sits in a rocking chair. She begins to sing “Hush Little Baby.” She says that she is going to destroy the world for him. The baby she is rocking has white skin and green hair. The baby has a grimacing smile.

Fifteen Years Ago:
Bruce Wayne enters the Wayne Foundation, which is holding a banquet, with a beautiful brunette. He shakes the hands of all the benefactors that donate to the charity. He sees Lucius Fox, and they talk about the new armor for the Bat-Suit since the “Arkham City incident.” He notices that Mayor Quincy Sharp is there trying to help the people that he hurt. Suddenly, there is a burst at the door, and everyone in the building gave a gasp. There was another Bruce Wayne with cuts on his face. He said that the real Bruce was an imposter. The real Bruce said that this man was delusional, and that he couldn’t be the real Bruce Wayne. The imposter said that, while he was in Arkham City, he was attacked by the Penguin and his men. That was the reason his face was cut up. He also said that the imposter, real Bruce, was the one that killed the people at Arkham City. The people believed the imposter and forced the real Bruce. When everyone, except the imposter, was gone, he decided to attack him as Batman. He entered the building and saying the imposter’s real name Thomas Elliot. The imposter turned to see Batman and smiles. “Well, I see you came to my debut, Batman,” says Elliot. “You will be stopped,” Batman says. “Go ahead and try,” says Elliot. They both fight until Batman is ultimately defeated. Elliot runs away with him saying on word, “Hush.”

Ten Years Ago:
People have cast out Batman since he attacked Hush, who was pretending to be Bruce Wayne. Unfortunately, an old villain of his forces him out of hiding. That villain is none other than the Scarecrow. He threatened the people of Gotham City and wanted revenge against Batman. Batman decided to reveal himself for the safety of Gotham. When he was at the GCPD, the officers tried to arrest him. Only Commissioner Gordon was the one who knew the truth about Hush. He and Batman decide that Scarecrow should be taken down quickly. He discovered that his hideout was in the sewers away from Killer Croc. In Batman’s attempt to stop Scarecrow, he was defeated by Scarecrow with Ra’s al Ghul’s help.

Five Years Ago:
Ra’s al Ghul stopped Batman from keeping Gotham from being a city filled with terror. Batman decided that it was finally time to take the fight to Ra’s. He waited for the moment that he believed was right. Unfortunately, Ra’s had other plans. He attacked Batman at his own home. He didn’t expect that was going to happen. He tried his best to keep his own until Ra’s threatened Alfred. Batman stopped fighting, so Ra’s lowered his sword. He plunged the sword into the chest of Alfred to show that he did not care for the life of a hired help. Batman’s anger shows and he attacks Ra’s. He gets close to killing him but is stopped. He is betrayed by Talia al Ghul. Ra’s and Talia leave the Bat-Cave with Batman lying next to a dead Alfred. Batman begins to cry and only thinks of his friend, and surrogate father, is dead.

Now:
The world is in a mass of chaos. The world is taken by Ra’s al Ghul. He controls it with an iron fist. He has eliminated other threats that tried to overpower him, and such threats as every single hero and villain that opposed him. Only a few of the foes of Batman have decided to side with Ra’s al Ghul. Those foes are Hush, Scarecrow, Prometheus, Firefly, Talia al Ghul, and Cat-Man. They all were given certain areas of the world to watch over. There are also troubles on the side like Calendar Man, Zsasz, Riddler, and Killer Croc. Batman has grown old. He has no Alfred or Gordon to help him. He is alone to stop Ra’s and his forces from truly taking this world. What the Batman does not know is that another threat is out in Gotham. He is the one person that can defeat Ra’s and Batman. He is the son of the one that died at Arkham City, and he killed his own mother. He is the son of the Joker.

Not a bad idea, but there's a few things that aren't water tight. Why would people suddenly believe Hush was the real Bruce? Wouldn't they bother to check, perhaps conduct a DNA test? How does Talia betray Bruce? In fact, how are Ra's and Talia even in this, they died in Arkham City and they said there was only one Lazarus Pit in the world, which was destroyed at the end. What role does the Joker's son play? You said Bruce'd be alone, but what about Commissioner Gordon, and Robin, Nighwing, and Oracle?
And why is it called Arkham World? There's nothing to do with Arkham in the story, and Ra's wouldn't turn the world into a bigger Arkham Asylum, he'd turn it into his own kingdom.
Also, why's it set in the future? Is it going down a Batman Beyond route? Will Bruce be Batman during the actual game, or will Bruce become a mentor for someone like Terry McGinnis.

However, I did like how you killed off Alfred, I thought it was a brutal way to do it, and would be a devastating blow to Batman.

I like how all the Robins are sitting on the arses not helping.

I like the story but I don't like that there is only two new villains who haven't appeared in previous games. Do something decent with Black Mask (his revenge for what happened in Arkham city), Great White Shark, Ventriloquist and Ghostly Gentleman.

You totally forgot about Azrael's appearance in Arkham city.

There should be a reopening of Black Gate prison and it should be a key part of the story.

I would like to see Red Hood be a main villain as he tries to force Wayne into retirement.

Also I'd like to see Damian make an appearance, and Dick Grayson and Tim Drake play a big part of the story.

Too far into the future. If someone doesnt take over, it would turn into Dark Knight Returns. Which isn't bad, just should receive it's own story line in video games. Or it's own "dream", "fear-induced" chapter

Not bad, although I personally prefer the idea of focusing more on Hush (you've got an interesting idea in involving the character there); and in all honesty, I really hate the idea of 'the son of the Joker'. I also think that 20 years in the future would be way too far, but I understand what you're trying to do there, and it's for something nice...so, nice job. :)

One more thing; I'd say Arkham World must go. I understand why you pick such title judging from the story you wrote, but if this ever be...God, please not that title!

@Scott Pilgrim-The entire thing where Ra's comes back is that he is the end of Gotham City. The Thing that will make it burn and that is the Azreal connection.

@ACira-The Hush thing is that he is a scarred Bruce Wayne and people believe that because Bruce was in Arkham City and they think he would have wounds. Also, I had in mind that there was another Lazarus Pit somewhere and they took them away. For Talia, she was mad at Bruce because of the betrayal and I just continued that.

To all the people asking why he is alone, Ra's killed all the people that opposed him so that's why no Gordon, Oracle, Nightwing, or Robin. Also, I have the Oracle and Alfred in this game is a Good/Bad Riddler. The child of the Joker was put in motion with the pregnacy test thing in the Sionis Office.

Also not leading to a Batman Beyond thing. Cause if I were to write it, Batman would die in the end of the game.

I like the idea of it I would love Joker's son to be pissed at batman, but I don't want him to be as big of a threat though he is just a kid.
