The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been a big part of my childhood and they've always been one of my favorite creatures to draw.

Wow, really stellar dude! One gripe though (and not sure if this is just yours, or every ninja turtle) but shouldnt the yellow midsection on his torso go across his obliques and connect to his shell? I thought that was a part of his shell.

I guess it really depends on who draws them. I normally don't look at other pictures when I draw unless I really need to because I like to create it organically through me. In this case I just sat down and drew him right out of my mind.

But I did do some digging and it seems like a lot the modern stuff for the turtles nowadays have the exposed sides.
