Fan appreciation is the purest form of flattery!
These posters remind me of stone(grave)rubbings... as such they give us a unique & distinctive spin on the traditional advertising agency commissioned graphics that permeate the media.
Artist Frankie McKeever created these masterpieces which pay homage to Christopher Nolan's trilogy of Bat films.
I especially love the first poster for Batman Begins!
All of you Saturday morning cartoon fans will instantly recognize the colony of bats (that's right... a "flock" of bats is called a "colony") from the DC Nation short entitled "Batman of Shanghai"!
The whole concept of Batman using bats as camouflage or as a vehicle of escape is pretty cool! Hell, if Aquaman can talk to the fish, why can't Batman call on bats?
I also appreciate the restraint practiced by the writers of Batman's adventures. I have only seen this "power" exhibited twice... once in the Batman:Year One animated feature(and the comic it was based on)and again in Batman Begins.
It can easily be argued that Batman is THE MOST INTERESTING MAN IN THE WORLD! He may not find himself backed into a corner often, but when he does, he prefers bats for backup!
