What? No Ventriloquist??? Man... i was all giddy to vote for Steve Buscemi as The Ventriloquist :(

I'm still hoping for Johnny Depp as the Riddler though. I think his performances in Once Upon A Squat In Mexihole and The Secret Outhouse were great examples of how cold and calculating he could be. As long as he doesn't go as crazy as Carrey and stick to a similar portrayal as in the animated series "TheBatman", i think we'd have a stellar Riddler.

I'm also hoping that Paul Bettany plays Mr. Freeze!!! He's simply perfect for it!!!

@Clint Black Mask is one of THE mob bosses in Bat's rogues gallery. he's intimidating, intelligent, and downright scary!

the film should be ... like public enenies batman is wanted now ... do a cross over bring in superman ....he helps batman try to clear his name an in doing so becomes wanted like batman ...but do it hlf way threw film ... go after the riddler ...enter superman ... gordon talks of lex corp an a weapon that was to be used if superman became a threat ..enter lex ... then certain villians say they can capture the bat and superman they are now goverment agents thanks to lex ... then its up to most wanted to sort solve an clear their names .... but it has to be dark ... very dark

I would like to see Talia al Ghul maybe at the end of the movie and Ra's coming back to life. And Riddler and maybe Black Mask for most of the film. No Penguin and Ventriloquist my two least favorite Batman villians.

i voted for Clayface just because I love the character and all of the different things that could be done with him

also i would have voted for Bane just to get Batman up against some muscle as opposed to someone to match wits with

it should be them both :)

@Newbe: Ha, I was just thinking the same thing. Cool looking costume and name, but it's just a kid, isn't it?

I normally don't divulge my vote because I don't want to skew the others who voted, but I voted for Bane and I'm happy to see that he is currently in 2nd place. If you're unfamiliar with the character--or you just have a bad taste in your mouth from his portrayal in Batman & Robin or in the animated series--read his origin issue. The dude is one bad mutha! He's smart, devious, and juiced up on Venom. He would make a good mental and physical counterpoint to Batman.

Yeah, Bane would be sweet. He would fit in nicely as the new mob boss in Gothom. I'd like to see the Riddler too, maybe as a private detective hired by the city to uncover Batman, as it's been speculated.

Is Killer Croc not a realistic enough enemy to be put on this list? 'cause he'd be my second choice to antagonize alongside the Riddler.
