With the Fantastic Four reboot looking more and more likely, here are my choices to fill the tight blue jumpsuits of earths favorite ambassadors.

With the much talked about Fantastic Four reboot now having put
"Chronicle" director Josh Trank on the project, the studio is finalizing a deal that will have Jeremy Slater write the script.

Having already made two previous "Fantastic Four" movies that, while being solid hits in the box office, were never massive fan favorites. I think its safe to say were all hoping that this time round they can do it right.

For the reboot, I would be in favor of skipping the "how they got their powers" stuff and just tell it in the opening credits, possibly via newspaper articles and interview clips. This will allow them to get on with the story instead of wasting an hour retelling what we've already seen.

Now enough of my rambling, let's get to what you've come to see.
Here are my choices for the fantastic Foursome and some other characters I'd like to see make an appearance at some point in the new franchise:

Mr Fantastic/Reed Richards: Patrick Wilson

His great performance in "Watchmen" is proof enough that he can carry the mantle of a convincing superhero and his intelligent,quiet-boy looks, I think, make him a great choice for the super-genius Reed Richards.

The Invisible Woman/Susan Storm: Anna Torv

Any of you that have seen "Fringe" will know Anna Torv would make a fantastic Susan Storm. With the perfect mix of intelligence and kick-assness Torv would make Susan Storm her own

The Human Torch/Johnny Storm: Garret Hedlund

Starring in "Four Brothers" and the recent "Tron: Legacy" disappointment, Hedlund has the look and acting ability to bring the wise-cracking Johnny Storm Convincingly to the big screen. Also unlike Evans and Alba, Hedlund could actually be a believable sibling for Torv.

The Thing/Ben Grimm: Ron Perlman

This time round I think the Thing shoud be done entirely CG, lets not have another Chiklis - rubber suit fiasco. Perlman who we all know from his great work in Hellboy and Son's of Anarchy has the perfect gravelly voice for the 'clobberin' Ben Grimm.

Namor/the Sub-Mariner: Jason Momoa

You may have seen him in Marcus Nispel's Conan the Barbarian and as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones. While he is still a relativly new talent I think he has the look and ability to bring the arrogant king of the sea's to life.

Alicia Masters: Christina Hendricks

With a return to the red headed Alicia I have chosen Madmen's Christina Hendricks for the role. With the looks and talent I think she'd make a rewarding choice for the role.

Puppet Master: John Lithgow

Needing no introduction, John Lithgow would be a great choice for the Puppet-master, as he would be able to portray the maniac evil that I think is needed for the part.

Victor Von Doom/Doctor Doom: Zachary Quinto

While I would refrain from having Doom appear in the reboot, instead saving him for a scond or third film, I couldn't do this fan-cast without throwing him in. Quinto's performance as Sylar in "Heroes" for me was a villain performances on par with that of Heath Ledger in TDK and I can think of no one better to play The fantastic Fours greatest foe.

I like everyone except for Quinto as Doom.

Quinto as Doom is wrong but one thing we can agree on is his excellent performance in Heroes! Personally, his Sylar far surpassed Heaths Joker (which was very good but overrated). Heath only had to play one kind of person, Sylar was several! In a simple glance he changed from a totally believable lost soul wanting nothing but redemption to an instant embodiment of evil in its most self indulgent form. The role earned him plenty of recognition but still doesn't get the praise it deserves.

@ QuinlanVos - Darth Revan? Great character and yes, he was evil at one point but that was a short time bookended by great heroism. How badass was Lord Vitiate?! Not much written about him, even in the Revan book where he's the main villain but to have that oppressive aura about him and drain planets of life is pretty extreme!

@ThunderCougarFalconBird - i agree with you 100% on Quinto but i think if he was able to bring even half that quality of performance to Doom it could be pretty epic

Great cast but I think you would need someone that can play the human part of Ben as well as the voice.

@NightAvenger - your right but I think they could get away with it if they showed the 'before their powers' stuff in the credits as they could then use an unknown actor as all they'd need is someone to look the part.
