The Returnees:
Everyone from the first movie(including the villains), because it's not like the Emerald Archer kills everyone.
The Newcomers:
John Diggle: Omari Hardwick
Why: Diggle(one of the few good things Arrow has given us) finally made his way into Green Arrow's Rebirth this year, which is reason enough for me to include him in this fancast.
Brick:Big Show
Why: Whenever you are casting someone like Brick, acting ability doesn't mean as much as immense size does, which Big Show has in spades(take note, I normally avoid casting wrestlers)
Lady Shiva: Lucy Liu
Why: One of the best Asian actresses working today, she has the chops to pull off the roll(see Kill Bill, The Scorpion King, and Charlie's Angel)
David Cain:Clive Owen
Why:Whenever it comes to sardonic and/or badass characters, Owen seemigly kills every role he's in, and since David Cain and Lady Shiva are married, they need to be around the same age.
Chesire:Katie Leung
Why: Since Chesire and Roy Harper are... romantically linked... in the comics, I decided to look for Asian actresses who were 1)Good looking 2)Around Taron Egerton's age 3)good actress, and I came up with Katie Leung, from the Harry Potter movies
Director:Guy Ritchie(RocknRolla,Lock,Stock,and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch.,The Man from U.N.C.L.E.)
Why: If the first Green Arrow movie spanned a long way from Star City(which is why Count Vertigo was one of my selected villains), this one will be more personal and close to home(i.e. will stay in Star City) and develop Oliver's relationships with his allies and will also have to juggle several storylines(a specialty of Richie's), as well as have a knack for somewhat witty dialogue(another Ritchie thing).
