Chris Pine = Hawkeye

Hawkeye is kind of cocky like Han Solo, but he's on point when it comes to his equipment. Hawkeye really knows how to pick em as far as the ladies. Hawkeye Limited series Circa 1983. He's a handsome rugged guy, but sometimes gets a little hot headed. A extraordinary leader and great teacher to his juniors, compassionate to others, he is also very loyal to his friends and has a high code of ethics and upholds the Avengers belief "DO NOT KILL."

the problem with doing the Hawkeye of the original universe....is that a carnival inst what it use to be... u feel me???

trust me when i say...i am meshing the worlds together...taking the best parts from both...some things will look a little weird...like when u see gambit in Wolverine movie??? like what the heck...

that wont happen....i can see that cameo's of moon knight, quicksilver and scarlet which will be in there.

not sure yet how much u will see of the twins but they will be introduced...

honestly ppl, i think Leo could pull it off. He is extremely talented....my top 3 are Matt Damon (Matt Damon, Matt Damon), Leo, brad Pitt, seriously...these guys can act...

i read somewhere in the Ultiame series that he had some super soilder serum in him as well that increased his eye sight...

im tellin u guys, u will like the script i just am looking for odds and ends...i really love the feed back... bad and good... this is really encouraging for me to keep writing....This movie will have the darkness of the punisher but great story line of Iron Man...and who knows there maybe a cameo from him as well....

i always thought Jason Statham, (yeah i know) would make a good hawkeye because hes got a mouth on him and he kind alooks like him it would also help make the Avnegers international, or Jensen Ackles, because that guy is better off as Hawkeye and not as Cap

lol No, I am for Chris Pine. I think thats a good choice. Though I dont think its perfect. Im not sure it would work for him being an archer.

Well When I wrote Hawkeye in my Avengers story I casted Chris Pine for him. His personality as Kirk in Star Trek, mixed with a little Indiana Jones and some wise ass gives you Hawkeye.

He seems to fit Clint Barton's personality best, LEEE wans Ackels as him, but that is because LEEE has this fear of Jensen becoming Captain America. I saw were you mentioned Matt Damon for him. Damon is a great actor, but his onscreen personality is too different than that of Hawkeye. The closest he has come, to me anyway, was his character in Departed.

But the actor depends on how you write the script. If it is a dark script, it doesn't mean you have to have a darker actor. Stick a wise ass in there, it will give the audience, or reader, a brief respite from the horror and carnage.

I believe I can vaugly remember the outline you posted a few weeks ago in a comment. If I remember it correctly I see no reason why a guy like Pine couldn't work. Remember Hawkeye has that cocky attitude in some of the worse situations, so Pine could do it.

AH! Age I see what you mean... In my story I had him as a 32 year old, which he will be when the Avengers comes out. What age are you doing him? If I remember correctly your story was similar to the Ultimates version where Hawkeye was about 38.

I could see Johnson, he has the build of an archer, but I haven't seen him do that cocky attitude, so far he has been very... strait laced in most of his films.

What about Scott Speedman, he is the right age, and build. Or here is one out of left that I could actually see. Chris O'Donnell. I know he was in the worst comicbook movie of all time, but look back at some of his other roles, like 'Three Musketeer'. I would wait until his new show NCIS LA comes out before I pass my final jugement on his actinag ability.

I don't mind his race being changed, I mena I'm a fan of the character, if the right actor is black or Vietnamese I don't care as long as he is done right, like Kingpin.


But I still feel that CHris Pine is right for it, but that is for the Hawkeye that I would write, not nessacarily the one YOU would write.

I like Leo and Damon, but neither of them seem right for the role. i can't say why. I know Leo wouldn't take it anyway, he always goes to these darker films. Man i can't wait for 'Shutter Island' next year!
