Idea: CW's Justice Society of America Show

Idea: CW's Justice Society of America Show

Personally I would love to see a Justice Society of America Show on CW..It would be a great way to introduce less well known characters to Television Audiences.

Personally I don't think that CW is really that bad..Arrow is really good and i am really looking forward to Amazon.Personally i would love to see Justice Society of America Show on CW.Personally i would be awesome and i would love to see the original 7 members as the main characters in a TV Show set in the Modern Day.I know a lot of you won't agree but hey it's my opinion.

Here are the Bios for the main 7 Members (I wouldn't introduce them all at once..I would introduce them gradually)

Sandman (Wesley Doods)

(Yes..this is the design i would use for Wesley)

Bio: Wesley Doods is a famed inventor and chemist. After his wife was murdered by Vandal Savage. He decided that crime is ramped and decides to become the a crime fight fighter. He decides to build a basic green business suit, fedora, a World War I era gas mask, a gas gun, and a wire gun.Deciding to name himself Sandman.Wesley joins Justice Society of Mercia as there 4th Member.Wesley is always making tools and building new machines. He is like Ant-Man in Avengers:Earth Mightiest Heroes

Alan Scott

Bio: Alan Scott is a news reporter. While on a train in China, the train is suddenly wrecked. A Green Flame protects him and heals him. It tells Alan he will draw his power from the Earth. It gives him a costume then tells him he needs something to draw his power,he uses a ring. Alan then helps other survivors and decides to become the Green Lantern. He Joins the Justice Society of Heroes as their 2nd member.

Hourman

Bio: Scientist Rex Tyler, raised in upstate New York, developed an affinity for chemistry, particularly biochemistry. A series of discoveries and accidents led him to the "miraculous vitamin" Miraclo. He found that concentrated doses of the "miraclo" given to test mice increased their strength and vitality several times that of normal. After taking a dose himself, Rex found he could have superhuman strength and speed for the hour that vitamin's effects lasted, before returning to human levels.Deciding to become a Superhero,he called himself Hourman and decides to join the Justice Society as their 5th Member.

Atom (Alan Pratt):

Atom was originally a Scientist who was 'the tough guy character'. He relay talks and rather would use his fists then talk but when he talks, he has a thick Russian accent. He was born in Moscow in Russia and moves to the USA when he was 16. Deciding to become a Superhero, he build a size changing belt and gloves which will form energy around them which are used to sent enemies flying. He joins the Justice Society as the last main member. He is best freinds with Hourman and Sandman

Spectre:

Hard-boiled cop Jim Corrigan was murdered by being stuffed into a barrel (which was then filled with cement) and drowned. His spirit was refused entry into the afterlife, however, instead being sent back to Earth to eliminate evil by an entity referred to only as "The Voice". He saw his body when he appeared at the bottom of the waterfront.
The Spectre begins by seeking bloody vengeance against Corrigan's murderers in a grim, supernatural fashion. One of them turned to a skeleton upon touching him. He joins the Justice Society and becomes there 7th member.

Flash (Jay Garrick)

a 21 year-old recent college graduate.Jay was spurned by his girlfriend, Joan, and possesses very little in terms of career prospects. The character receives his "superspeed" from Mercury, a dying Olympian god who sees bravery in Jay.His first case involves battling the Faultless Four, a group of blackmailers (Sieur Satan, Serge Orloff, Duriel and Smythe) who plotted to steal an Atomic Bombarder and sell it.He defeats them and decides to
become a Full Time Superhero called 'Flash'.He creates the Justice Society..

Doctor Fate:

Kent Nelson, the twelve year-old son of American archaeologist Sven Nelson, accompanied his father on an expedition to the Valley of Ur in Mesopotamia . When Kent opened the tomb of the ancient Egyptian wizard Nabu, a poisonous gas was released which killed Sven. Nabu took pity on the orphaned Kent and raised him for twenty years, teaching him the skills of a wizard before giving him a mystical helmet, amulet and cloak of his own creation. Nabu then merged his spirit with the helmet, allowing him to possess Kent every time he wore it.Kent returns to the United States and moved into an invisible tower in Salem, Massachusetts.Joining the Justice Society. He Becomes there 6th Member.

Hawkman:

Carter Hall is a archaeologist. He is the recarnation of Prince Khufu who was a prince in Ancient Eypt. He was murdered by Hath-Set. After finding this out. He builds a costume. He uses the properties of "Nth metal" to craft a gravity-defying belt, Hall creates wings and a costume. After defeating Hath-Set.He defeated him and becomes the superhero Hawkman. He joins the Justice Society and becomes it's 3rd member.

I think that having a Justice Society Show would be a great idea and it could introduce casual fans to obscure characters just like what happened with Arrow.I know it will never happen but i hope someday..it will happen...

I could see this working almost like Once Upon a Time does, having a main couple of characters and introducing new hero's that are around for a couple episodes or not in the majority of the episode. I really like this idea, but would love to see a fan cast.

Not a fan of Arrow, thats no secret, but I love the JSA. I loved their treatment on Smallville, but i think that that is about as good as you could get on television. I would definitely like a very traditional adaptation. I have no problem with(for the sake of a TV show) making it in modern times.

My big question is would you want a real superhero JSA show with real superpowers like Smallville in its later years, only better? Or would you want the watered down version you might get if they follow Arrow's lead?

And you really think the CW could afford/be bothered to make all those spectacular-looking costumes, without making 'em look cheap? Not to mention the channel's incapability in creating decent CGI effects to accommodate the powers possessed by the members of JSA?

I understand your demand, but giving the team a TV show on the CW is far too much a risk. Proper movie treatment, or nothing at all.

Malcopunch: Dude, if you think the effects in Smallville was good...really, think again. The final episode was mediocre at best, and one of the aspects that sent it downhill was their attempt in featuring a lot of CGI action. (Not to mention the awful CGI costume.) And I still remember how in the likes of Absolute Justice, Booster, et cetera - all of the episodes which were heavy on CGI as well - featured climaxes where the hero(es) defeated the villain-of-the-day in a single attack, heavily dramatized with the implementation of unnecessary slow-motion which resulted in the exposure of their subpar effects. Hell, even with the CW's other shows such as Supernatural, which I love, I'd still cringe on its usage of CGI. The CW can handle the JSA? Nope, I highly doubt that.

If the chance of JSA getting a big screen treatment is 0%, then let's leave it there, rather than struggling for a half-assed TV show.

Way to contradict yourself, there.

Me too!!! ; D

As long as they make it new and not connected to Smallville, damn them writers killed most of 'em off!

Always thought makers of WATCHMEN could do a movie based on JSA but would love a series!

I'll forgive CW for killing off Smallville with the last three seasons (maybe lol).... ARROW's F'ing awesome!
