"The Knights" features all the heroes teaming up for the second time. I called it The Knights because of "Marvel Knights" which the story is loosely based on.
So without further adue, here is the story for "The Knights"
The Knights
The next chapter in the MCU starts with Wolverine arriving in New York. Last we saw, he had just been given an assignment by James Hudson of “Department H” to kill the vigilantes of New York – Moon Knight, Daredevil and Ghost Rider.
He begins using his skills to track them down, and eventually stumbles into Marc Spector (aka Moon Knight) mansion. We see Spector and Marlene Alraune, whose on-off relationship has taken a turn for the worse after Spector became Moon Knight again. Spector is trying to convince her he is still the same man she fell in love with, and he seems to have her convinced when we hear something smash. Spector sends her off to hide, and sneaks off and suits up into Moon Knight.
For the first time, he encounters Wolverine. Wolverine tells him that “his scent” lead him here. This leads to an incredibly even fight between the two. They completely destroy the mansion and their fight leads to outside, where SWAT and NYPD had been called in and now surround the building. They are on orders to immediately take out Moon Knight, (For his earlier vigilante activities and violation of “The Vigilante Outlaw Act”) And they attempt to, and with Wolverine’s help, they overpower him, and get him in handcuffs.
Wolverine and SWAT escort him to an armored SWAT truck. Wolverine is pretending to be an undercover FBI agent, and is granted permission to ride with Moon Knight to prison.
We see a news report about how “the vigilante known as Moon Knight” has been captured. We now see Matt Murdock (aka Daredevil) watching it alone. He suits into his Daredevil costume. Inside the truck, Wolverine is attempting to interrogate Moon Knight. He tells him now that he has direct orders to kill him, and plans on following through. He pulls out his claws, but is stopped when he hears a thump on the roof. He grins, and steps out and climbs to the roof to see Daredevil. They fight, and it ends with Daredevil throwing Wolverine off the truck, and climbing into the inside. He defeats the SWAT guards and unhooks Moon Knight. They give each other a “Long time no see” and escape.
They are chased down by Wolverine, but after a long discussion, he retracts his claws when learning he was sent to kill heroes. He agrees to help them defeat Mr. Fear, the new crime boss in New York.
Meanwhile, Bullseye (who was last revealed to have known Daredevil’s true identity) sits in a bar by himself, throwing anything he can get a hold of. He is approached by a man, who is revealed to be Mister Fear. Fear offers him the chance to finish his job on Daredevil, and he will pay him. Bullseye is initially hesitant, but eventually agrees.
Ghost Rider, meanwhile, is seen making love to Roxanne, but is having nightmares about his fight with Mephisto. They eventually get worse and his face transforms into the face of Ghost Rider. We see him now riding down the street in his motorcycle.
Mister Fear is orchestrating a plot with his henchmen, and has gained several corrupt cops under his payroll, using his fear based drug to manipulate their thoughts. He invades the City Hall, and spreads his gas around. The employees of the city are all infected, and he makes his way to the mayor’s office. Here the mayor has been meeting with a young lady, who is revealed to be Elektra Natchios. The reasons for their meeting are not revealed yet, but she gets into a fight with Mister Fear. She is holding her own with her assassin like abilities.
Meanwhile, the heroes have made their way here, and are defeating the thugs. Fear leaves Elektra to his bodyguard – the huge Crossbones, an assassin. He takes the mayor and gets the blueprints that will help him with his grand plan. Daredevil makes it into the mayor’s office, and notices Crossbones squeezing the life out of Elektra. He attacks Crossbones, and they fight, ending with Crossbones being thrown out a window.
The heroes are outnumbered, but they eventually make their way out, only for Mister Fear to escape.
Later, they sit in the underground base talking about how they need more people for them to defeat Mister Fear’s gang. Wolverine recommends the other hero he was sent to kill – Ghost Rider.
Daredevil, is suspicious about why Elektra just happened to be there. She tries to tell him she was walking by when she heard the commotion and tried to stop it, but Daredevil isn’t fully convinced.
Mister Fear is in his base with Bullseye, enraged about why he wasn’t there to help them with their thwart. He says he was busy with something else, and reveals to Mister Fear that he kidnapped Ben Urich, who is tied up beside him. [Bullseye]
Marc Spector’s MPD is getting worse, and Marlene Alraune has told him that he needs help, or else she’s leaving. One of Spector’s MPD personalities – Jake Lockley, the taxi cab driver, is driving around when he pulls over to let a man in. He knows who it is – Johnny Blaze. He tells him that they need his help. Blaze asks, “By him you mean…?” and Lockley responds, “The Rider”.
He agrees and the team, made of Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, Elektra and Wolverine, drive the Mooncopter, (Driven by Frenchie) to Mister Fear’s base, only to realize they were to late, and whatever his plan was, he’s already set it in motion. They tear the place apart, and Wolverine finds blueprints to the Water Supply System, and their faces turn to horror when they realize his plan.
They infiltrate the Water Supply system and defeat many thugs on the way to finding Mister Fear himself. He brags how the city will soon be poisoned by his fear gas, and finally fights the team. He holds his own against all of them, but is soon aided by Crossbones, who grabs Elektra and runs off with her. Daredevil follows.
Daredevil comes into a separate room, but doesn’t see Crossbones. Instead, he sees Bullseye, standing by Elektra. Once he sees Daredevil, he basically mocks him before stabbing Elektra in the chest, killing her. Daredevil, enraged attacks Bullseye and beats him to a pulp. He is about to cross the line and kill him, but he is stopped by Moon Knight.
Moon Knight convinces him not to turn into a murderer, but Daredevil is so enraged that he takes his frustration out on Moon Knight. Although Moon Knight doesn’t want to, they get into a fight, and it appears as though Moon Knight is going to win when Bullseye gets up. Barely able to move, he attempts to throw one last object, his last shuriken. He throws it but Daredevil catches it and ends it for once and for all by throwing it back at him, killing him. Daredevil holds Elektra in his hands as she dies, and we see all the carnage that was created.
Meanwhile, Ghost Rider and Wolverine are fighting Mister Fear. Wolverine takes Mister Fear while advising Ghost Rider to go stop the water supply before it hits the city. They accomplish this task, and Wolverine stabs Mister Fear in the stomach, while he appears to apparently die, he vows that someone will take his place, just as he took Kingpin’s place.
Crossbones is the last remaining villain, and we see that he has left and is pacing fast down the street.
In the Denouement, the Vigilante Outlaw Act is revoked by the City due to the vigilantes heroic acts. Marlene and Marc’s rocky relationship seems to be on track for now, while Blaze and Roxanne are still together. It is also revealed that Karen Page has left to California to pursue an acting career.
We see Murdock at Elektra’s funeral. After the service, Spector silently walks up to him. Murdock asks if he has “any word on Urich” (he was kidnapped earlier) but Spector tells him that they haven’t found him yet as they both go their separate ways.
In a post-credits scene, we see a man walking by two huge Panther statues. We recognize this place; Wakanda. The home of Black Panther. A man is talking to S’yan, Black Panther’s (T’Challa) uncle. He says that the reign of T’Challa is about to end, saying “it’s time” for it to be over and that there is room for a new king. S’yan asks him who exactly he thinks will replace T’Challa, and he says that he will, “Erik Killmonger”.
THE END
Here is the fancast, most of which are returning from previous installments in my MCU.
Ryan Gosling as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil
Gosling is a tremendous actor, and i've had him in my MCU as Daredevil the whole time, and see no reason to change.
Tom Hardy as Marc Spector aka Moon Knight
Another great actor, i was the first one to choose Hardy for Moon Knight, (My first Moon Knight cast in my MCU) and it's caught on in other people's too. I know he'd make a great Wolverine too, but he'd also do great as Moon Knight!
Jon Bernthal as Wolverine
This choice has caught on ever since a CBM user suggested it, (Not sure exactly who though, sorry) and I believe it's a great choice. He even has the height factor for all those people who complain about it!
Charlie Hunnam as Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider
Ghost Rider was a hard role to cast, but around the time i posted the Ghost Rider movie in my MCU, i got the idea of Hunnam, (Sons of Anarchy) for the role, and it got very high praise from fellow CBMers. So i stuck with it.
Olivia Wilde as Elektra Natchios
Out of all the choices in my MCU so far, (There's been 10 installments) this choice may be the one that's gone over
worst with CBMers, but i believe Wilde is a good enough actress that would make her likable in the role.
Stephen Dorff as Mister Fear
On the other hand, this choice has got a lot of praise and Dorff would make a great Mister Fear, the main villain in "The Knights" and a generally over looked and under rated villain in my opinion.
Zachary Quinto as Bullseye
I've explained this many times. Quinto perfected creepiness as Sylar on Heroes, so Bullseye would be right up his alley. I would like to see him portray him as more of a creepy, mysterious villain than the laughing, sometimes wise cracking villain he is in the comics. This pick (Which is also an original pick for me, dating back to my very first fancast before i started my MCU) has also caught on with others, as @Mr.BlueSky had him for the role also.
Jennifer Morrison as Marlene Alraune
Morrison is a great actress, and could have great chemistry with Hardy, and could perfect the role of Marlene Alraune, who (in my MCU) is struggling over the decision of whether to stay with Spector or not, due to his MPD and him continuing to be Moon Knight.
Tahar Rahim as Jean-Paul Du-Champ aka Frenchie
Although Frenchie sort of takes a more minor role in The Knights than he had in previous movies of my MCU (Moon Knight, The Warriors, Vengeance of the Moon Knight) Rahim would still be great in the role, which i plan on giving him more time when i do Moon Knight 3!
Jack Coleman as Ben Urich
Coleman, also from Heroes, is a good actor and just could do wonders for the role and bares a resemblance to Urich. (Mainly in this picture, and if you've seen him with glasses, you'd agree.)
Sienna Miller as Roxanne Simpson
I believe Miller is one of the best options for the role of Roxanne.
Jason Segel as Foggy Nelson
Segel is a great comedic actor, which is vital for the role of Foggy.
Amy Smart as Karen Page
Page is a good actress who is fit to play Page.
Alan Tudyk as Detective Martin Soap
I was actually surprised that most people agreed with this pick when i originally posted it in "The Punisher". So i decided to keep it.
That's it! Hope you enjoyed it! I'm excitede to post the next (and possibly last) wave of my MCU because it gets really exciting and leads up to a great climax in the 3rd, and last team up movie!
