Meyers is a decent actor, he kind of overacts on Tudors, but he's not "terrible"

I used Eric Bana in my Invaders cast, and I really liked your manip of him. He'd be my choice if Marvel went a little A-list for the Invaders. If they wanted a bit of a lesser-known actor, Luke Goss.

Vin Diesel is bad bad actor! but i like the choice of Luke Goss as Namor, his acting in Blade 2 and Hellboy 2 were very good and he have the look. He can be a good Ant Man too.

@Ryden- Hartnett is hit or miss...mostly miss. He's had a couple roles that have been good: Lucky Number Slevin, Wicker Park, The black Dahlia, and Black Hawk Down. That's about it though.

What if? It would be a joke. Meyers is 5'10" and scrawny. Namor is 6'2" and has a very imposing physique. Put Meyers on the rack, some heavy duty steroids and 40 lbs later he might work as Namor. Otherwise....uh uh. Eric Bana is actually growing on me as far as fitting the Namor role. 6'3", good physique already that could be tightened up some. Good actor.

Sorry but no. Namor needs an actor that has a strong physical presence and a brute force quality.

I still think David Boreanaz would be a great choice but sadly he may be a little too old for the role.

@Everyone, Jonathen Rhys Myers Bulking up for the role is not an "Impossiblity" and while indeed he doesnt wear much of a costume, please keep in mind that unlike people like tombstone or Bane, Namor's physique speaks nearly nothing for his inhumane strength, ...Body builder yes, but seriously people, the guy lifts trucks and punches holes through Invisable womans shields, his strength is IMMENSLEY inhuman. Him doing what he does in the comics such as go toe to toe with the Thing, or Tanks, or Ship Hulls will be enough to convince the audience of "OH SHOOT THIS GUYS NOT TO BE MUCKED WITH.."

As Rydan said, this guy has a PRESENCE, and Namor is all about Presence..baring..Noblity and intolerence for defiance. Ryes has the ablity to convay that in his glances and airs, he's not just a brute, he's royalty, the good side of sheer tyranicl royalty. Adding muscles to that, seems much more favorable then simply trying to teach how to convay that with a someone who does all of his stunts and non of his acting...

Sorry thats just my opinion.

And besides, look at thor...as impressive as i'm sure Chris is, i doubt he comes in close proximaty with the muscle stature of the actual ODIN son in the comics, so what do they do? They compinsate with muscular armor to augment his natural physique. With the ultimate dark suited version we only see his arms, shoulders, and chest, all of which can be made up and built up to be more impressive. Much easier then bulking ones whole body up like that twilight wolf.

Is funny... Both actors played Henry VIII, Bana in "The Other Bolein girl" and Meyer in "The Tudors"
