Who Needs To Be In The Justice League Movie?

Who do you want to see on the silver screen in 2015?

There has been a lot of debate for years in the geek community about who should and who shouldn't be in the Justice League film. I've always subscribed to the idea that smaller teams make for better films because each character can be highlighted. There is just more screen time to go around when you use fewer characters. My ideal team would be 6 heroes strong--similar to the Avengers. And it would pay tribute to my favorite incarnation of the team--Bruce Timm's version. That version not only had a diverse cast of characters and personalities, it also had a wide array of powers that didn't usually overlap much. Everyone had their place on the team, and everyone did their job well. It was just... FUN. I really can't talk it up enough.

You had Superman--the ultimate boyscout with herculean strength. Batman was his dark tether to the realities of the world. Wonder Woman was the strong heroine every guy wanted, while Martian Manhunter was the tragic figure no guy wanted to be. Flash was the everyman joker who added humor and heart to the team, while his best friend the gruff marine Green Lantern was the guy who had seen it all and still always came up to bat.

But this article isn't just about me. It's also about all of you out there. More than anything, I want this movie to be successful, so it has to have what most of the fans want--including the right roster. Who do you need to see in a Justice League movie? Justice League fans, unite and discuss!

I don't want John Steward, never liked him. Nor do I see Aquaman necessary for the first film. Starting out with Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Hal's Green Lantern, and maybe, MAYBE Martian Manhunter in my personal opinion.

Superman/Clark Kent- Henry Cavill (6'1")
Batman/Bruce Wayne- Ryan Gosling (6'1")
Wonder Woman/Diana of Themyscira- Lynn Collins (5'8")
Green Lantern/John Stewart- Chadwick Boseman (6'1")
The Flash/Barry Allen- Mike Vogel (5'10")
The Martian Manhunter- Andy Serkis or Jim Caviezel (6'2")

Great choices! I agree. I hope WB follows your lead. John Stewart rocks!

I´m putting up day 3 of the big JL poll. remember to let me know your thoughts. It includes who should make the roster.

wally west
john stewart
mmh
Superman
Batman
Wonder Woman

that´s not just cause of the cartoon. i genuinely think they´ll be the best, otherwise i would have put hawkgirl. truthfully the way these characters work together is much better than most jl comics i´ve read. And the animated films with hal jordan, he´s just not as cool. john has far more potential to be something really interesting, cause he´s less defined than hal.

why do people consistently fancast ryan gosling for everything. the dude's okay. but he's not really a good fit for any superhero. especially not batman.

I like having Wally West for sure. There should be a younger, inexperienced member on the team.
Kyle Rayner may work in place of Hal.
I don't see anything wrong with another female member, like Zatanna or Hawkgirl.
