First of all, to just cast the actors who not be the right thing to do. A film without the right director to stir all the ingredients together would just make the film a flop. For the X-Men reboot, we not only need a director that can keep us hooked with the action, but tap us into who each characters really are. We need a director that can develop each character toward the audience, weave each character with each other and still keep us connected on the Big Screen. That being said, we need a guy who can really bring the action and let the shit hit the fan. A guy who isn't afraid to let his battle sequences run with a mind of their own and with works like Watchmen, 300 and the upcoming Sucker Punch, this director can bring the shit with bringing an engrossing story that just keeps audiences engaged.
Zack Snyder
First up is the Professor of the X Mansion and the man behind it all. This character needs to be played by an excellent actor that the audience and the students can feel comfortable with. They need to feel that he is doing what i right and that he can lead them into the light. There is only one actor that can portray Prof X spectacularly...
Liam Neeson- Charles Xavier
Next is the leader of the X-Men and the lover of Jean Grey, Scott Summers. Needs an actor that can portray a bad ass Scott Summers that can actually fight and is in control of his mutant abilities. He also has the uncanny look for Summers and i believe has the acting ability. With roles in Star Trek, Carriers, and Smokin' Aces, i think this actor has shown his versatility.
Chris Pine- Scott Summers
The telepathic leading lady of the X-Men and lover of Scott Summers. An actress needs to play Jean than can be compassionate and a fierce woman at the same time. Needs to be redhead, beautiful and capable of expressing a mixture of emotions.
Evan Rachel Wood- Jean Grey
The genius and resident doctor of the X Mansion. He is the smartest and one of the most physically affected by his mutation. Obviously needs to be played by an actor that can portray an intelligent Hank McCoy and the brutal animalistic beast. This actor can incorporate that into his acting judging by his work on CSI: Miami, Smallville, Flash Gordon, Stargate: Continuum, and Andromeda. Plus he already played Hank McCoy once lol.
Steve Bacic- Hank McCoy
The real strong man of the X-men but with a sensitive side. The lover of Kitty Pryde, Colossus is Piotr "Peter" Rasputin and was born on a Soviet collective farm called the Ust-Ordynski Collective near Lake Baikal in Siberia. He needs to be played by and actor that portrays his sensitive and somewhat naive side but also be the strongest [frick]ing X-Man in that Mansion. The actor need to be freaking huge and have chemistry with Kitty and i think they would...
Joe Manganiello- Colossus
She is the phasing youngster of the X-Men group and lover of Colossus. I believe this actress can play an upbeat and energetic Kitty Pryde but not to the point of annoyance. Plus i believe she would have great chemistry with Colossus...
Leighton Meester- Kitty Pryde
With the power to absorb abilities of fellow mutants with a single touch, Rogue has found it hard to find a love interest over the years. She found one though with the mutant Gambit. This is why i needed to cast an actress that can be vulnerable at times but have a hard edge to here that made it tough for people to get through to her. Not to mention the fact that she would be ideal physically to the character. Also she needed to be sexy and seem to have good chemistry with Gambit...
Elisha Dushku- Rogue
The hard-nose mutant that possesses the ability to manipulate kinetic energy, Gambit is a Cajun who is proud of his Louisiana heritage. An actor was needed that can portray the various faces of Remy LeBeau and i believe to have found the exceptional actor that can be those many faces. An actor that resembles Remy perfectly physically and can play the daredevil, ladies-man and mysterious Remy LeBeau all with a certain charm. I also think he would have great love interest with Rogue..
James Franco- Remy LeBeau/Gambit
The young mutant that has incredible powers of ice manipulation to the extent he is known as a rare Omega-level mutant. Bobby Drake is a different character than most of the other X-Men because he is one of the youngest of the group. As one of the youngest, he serves as comic relief and needs to be played by an actor who can do that. The actor needs to be physically fit, resemble Bobby Drake and be one of the founding members of the X-Men...
Ryan Kwanten- Bobby Drake/Iceman
One of the original X-Men and on of the most recognizable mutants out there, Angel is an integrate member of the X-Men. He posses the ability of natural flight due to his wings. Warren Worthington III needs to be portrayed by an actor who can play a wealthy millionaire that was stereotyped as an arrogant and self-absorbed playboy; and the actor needs to play the heartfelt and dedicated Angel...
Ryan Philippe- Warren Worthington III/Angel
