The sequel to “Xavier’s X-Men” would be “The Uncanny X-Men.” The film would pick off where the last one left off with Cyclops returning to the mansion without the other X-Men. The professor sends Cyclops on an international mission to find other mutants to join the X-Men, and rescue the others in Genosha. Cyclops finds Wolverine in Canada, Nightcrawler in Germany, Colossus in Russia, and Storm in Kenya. Meanwhile, Professor Xavier goes to the U.N., and discovers the real force behind Genosha’s creation and support. After training and all that, Cyclops and the new team members rescue the other X-Men and defeat the Brotherhood. Cyclops informs the Brotherhood of the atrocities committed on the island. Quicksilver shows indifference, Havok and Polaris are in disbelief, and the Scarlet Witch becomes disillusioned with Magneto and wants to leave the island. Magneto attempts to stop her from leaving and the two of them engage in a brief battle, which results in Magneto accidentally killing his daughter. Magneto, in grief, flees with his daughter’s body, and the X-Men leave Genosha, vowing to return. Back in the U.S., Professor Xavier goes to the White House to meet with President Kelly to inform him of what he discovered. As the professor is about to meet with the president, he senses danger. By the time he reaches the Oval Office, he witnesses Magneto assassinate President Kelly.

The New Recruits—I purposely left out Thunderbird, Banshee, and Sunfire because I wanted to avoid a bloated cast, and I personally find the four X-Men below more interesting.

Logan/Wolverine—Richard Armitage

I used to think that Hugh Jackman was irreplaceable as Wolverine, so I was inclined to keep him in the role, but I remembered Richard Armitage from Robin Hood, and thought that he’d make a great Wolverine. I enjoyed watching him in Robin Hood, and even though it was only for a few minutes, I really enjoyed his portrayal of Heinz Kruger in Captain America. If he can pull off German accent, then I’m sure he’d be able to do a North American one.

Ororo Munroe/Storm—Denise Boutte

When I was doing a little research on Denise Boutte, I watched an interview wherein she expressed that she’d be very interested in playing a role in an action movie. If she can do good African accent, then I think she’d be a great choice to play Storm.

Piotr Rasputin/Colossus—Joe Manganiello

Joe Manganiello is a decent actor, who I think wouldn’t have trouble producing a Russian accent, or at least a Slavic sounding one, and playing one of the biggest and kindest X-Men.

Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler—Daniel Graziadei

Fans of the Young and the Restless will recognize Daniel Graziadei as Daniel Romalotti Jr., but he also starred in Boogyman 2, and in an episode of Criminal Minds, where in one scene towards the end of the episode, he spoke in an incredibly natural German accent (he was born in Germany, but raised in the U.S.). He is a very talented actor and that alone should be enough to play one of the most complex, interesting, and tortured mutants in the X-Men.

Part 3 will be up soon. Here is a link to Part 1, featuring the cast from "Xavier's X-Men," which would also appear in "The Uncanny X-Men"

I hate to be rude, but you may need more cast than this. Why not throw your choices from your last article onto here if this is all the new mutants that will be featured? Nevertheless, it's a pretty good cast. The weak links are your picks for Wolverine and Colossus. Richard Armitage is a foot over Wolverine's actual height, and Colossus began as a teenager. My picks would be Stephen Dorff as Wolverine, and Armie Hammer as Colossus.

@RoadDogXXIV Yeah, I meant to put a link to the previous article at the end of this one. Thanks for pointing that out.

id like to seethe first one. i may have missed it. throw a link in 1of your responses. If RoadDog@ is correct, and he usually is, then, yes, ur Wolverine is too tall for my liking.
fancasts are supposed to accomplish what Hollywood fails to do, and that, in this case, is cast a Wolverine with an acceptable height. They all look fine, and i dont see a reson the others wouldnt work.

Id prefer a younger quartet (minus Woverine) if this is the beginning but this is fine if the story fits

I don't see Joe as Colossus, I see Ryan Hurst as being a great Colossus.

Ummm guys, his choice for Wolv is pretty much the same height as Hugh Jackman. Actually, Jackman seems to be a tiny bit bigger then him even. So yeah, height shouldn't be a factor. I thought like you that Jackman was the ideal Wolverine, but that's a very nice choice! Well done!

I don't think you are going to find an actor to play Wolverine who is 5'3", unless you cast Danny Devito. I think Wolverine should be shorter than 6 feet.
