It may seem a bit early, but the MPAA gave the film its rating: Rated PG-13 For intense sequences of sci-fi violence, action and destruction, and for some language.
For comparison, Superman was PG for peril, some mild sensuality and language. Superman II was PG for sequences of action violence, some language and brief mild sensuality.
