It's Really Over! Matt Ryan Thanks CONSTANTINE Fans As 'The Mill House' Set Is Torn Down

Short of an appearance in Arrow at some point, a final minute reprieve for Constantine simply isn't going to happen; the show is dead! That's a great shame, and you can find a farewell message from star Matt Ryan and an image of the set being taken down after the jump...

Gotham and The Flash survived after debuting last year, but Constantine sadly did not. There are a lot of reasons for that, and despite the best efforts of fans and those involved with the show, a second season won't be happening on NBC or anywhere else for that matter. Star Matt Ryan has now taken to Twitter to thank viewers for their support (he's about to romance Keira Knightley on Broadway, so try not to feel too sorry for him), while production designer Dave Blass tweeted a photo on Wednesday of the set being torn down. Are you guys going to miss Constantine

Only seen a couple of episodes but he was a fantastic choice for the role.

Hoping they'll cast him in a Justice League Dark movie.

Don't worry Matt Ryan. You may get to return as John since Del Toro was open to using you as John in Justice League Dark. Just be patient for the great del Toro.

Also Constantine > Arrow Season 3

Too bad, while some episodes were a bit weak, a few were some of the strongest CB-TV episodes Ive ever seen. Sad that this gets cancelled but shit like AOS and Agent Carter stay on the air. Hell this season was also easily better than Arrow s.3

I didn't watch it. I went to the bar instead. Maybe the bar had it on TV and I was too drunk to notice.

Constantine should never have been put on NBC in the first place!
They had no faith in it from the very beginning! It had too much
Potential, and the idiots at the network just totally ignored the
Fan outcry! The level of incompetence at NBC is just staggering!
Whomever made that decision should be FIRED IMMEDIATELY!!!

Why couldn't they petition Netflix or Amazon Prime? They would pick this up in a heartbeat with the loyal fanbase. Doesn't feel like these guys are trying hard enough.

That is depressing. Shows like Supergirl and Gotham will probably outlast this show.

gotham should be next. and flash after that. and then supergirl after that.

these new superhero shows are cheesy and terrible. these characters deserve to be on the big screen only.
