UPDATE: 'Thor' Is Not Helping In This Hilarious New AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Clip

"Thor, report on the Hulk?" "The gates of Hel are filled with the screams of his victims!" This latest clip from Marvel's Avengers sequel sees Black Widow attempt to get Banner to trust her more... but bringing Thor into the conversation probably isn't the best idea.

That's Thor. Completely appropriate to the character. If it's not resonating...Meh...Maybe you haven't grown up getting the gist of Thor in revelry and need to read a few story lines. One thing that Alan Taylor got right in Thor The Dark World, was Asgard.

Whedon's captured an aspect of Thor's character precisely in this clip.

"The Gates of Hel are filled with the screams of victims...". That's funny in context.

Missed the humor on that one. On a different note, does anyone else agree or disagree, that Ultron should have a more menacing voice.

The only thing that bothers me is this is how he should've been talking since the very beginning in 2011. Very viking-esque. Old English, "I Say Thee Nay" and very God like in tone.

Yes, that wouldn't have sounded preposterously cheesy or anything.

@TheGambitFreak

Ummmm that would have sounded so weird and cheesy. It'd have been off putting if he spoke like that IMO.

This wasn't funny at all. Just accept it people, most of marvel's jokes or lines when they are trying to be funny are just cheesy. Every now and then we get some gold lines, but this wasn't one of them. This is basically the "you are not helping by being clueless in situation that needed seriousness thus making the audience laugh" cliche. I've seen this in tons of movies...
