FANTASTIC FOUR Set Pics Glimpse The Baxter Building
Possibly revealing a nod to the Ultimate Marvel universe, "Baxter Institute" signage has been spotted on The Fantastic Four set, which also references to Marvel's First Family's base of operations.
Over the weekend, The Fantastic Four filming had closed a few streets in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and transformed them into New York City with various set dressings. There were NYC taxis, buses, payphones, and even hot dog stands among other props brought to the set, but recent photos (via Latino Review) also reveal that an office building at the location had doubled the exterior of the Baxter Building, or "Baxter Institute" as the huge plaque reads above the entrance.
Directed by Josh Trank, The Fantastic Four stars Miles Teller (Reed Richards), Michael B. Jordan (Johnny Storm), Kate Mara (Sue Storm), Jamie Bell (Ben Grimm), Toby Kebbell (Victor von Doom), Reg E. Cathey (Dr Franklin Storm), and Tim Blake Nelson (Harvey Elder), and hits June 19, 2015.
