When The FANTASTIC FOUR Return To Marvel Studios, Laurence Fishburne Wants A Role

At the Ant-Man and the Wasp premiere, actor Laurence Fishburne let it be known that even though he already co-stars in the MCU as Bill Foster, aka Black Goliath, he's got his eye on a Fantastic Four gig.

Did you know that in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, veteran mo-cap actor Doug Jones was the on-set actor of Norrin Rad while Laurence Fishburne provided the voice? And whenever the deal for Disney to acquire Fox becomes final and the FF4 return home, Fishburne wants to play one of the newly acquired characters - this time, a villain.

"Well, you know this is not my first time in the MCU: I was actually the voice of the Silver Surfer. And if they ever go back to that again - if it was a villain - I would love to do Galactus."

Fishburne reportedly made the comment during the Marvel Entertainment live stream of the Ant-Man and the Wasp premiere last night. Do you think The Matrix actor would provide a great voice for the world-devourer?  Chances are high that if Marvel Studios gets their hands on the character, he won't just be some inauspicious cloud this time around.

As recently reported, Disney added cash to their bid, bringing the total purchase price to  $71.3 billion - a direct counter to Comcast's aggressive tactics to acquire 20th Century Fox. With the studio accepting the bid, the last hurdle is getting antitrust approval from federal regulators.
