"IT'S NON-STOP, buckle up and enjoy the ride", according to Perseus/Sam Worthington...

Just around Empire cinema in Leicester Square you could find a bit of what ancient Greece looked like for the London premiere of 'Clash of the Titans'.

We will be reviewing 'Clash of the Titans' at the Portage 16 Imax Theater in Portage IN on Friday April 2, 2010. Be there or be square, or something like that.

I know a few women were the best line to describe them would be "Don't look into her eyes!!!"

What up Ror! Hey what do you mean? Bad reviews from everywhere? That's what I'm hearing but I don't read or listen to any reviews before we do ours so they don't effect my opinion, but I def hear the rumblings!

Hey dude. Yeah haven't read a good..barely even decent review yet. I can take or leave reviews too unless they are over overwhelmingly one sided and then I might pay some attention. I'm still gonna see it but it sounds disappointing..and to be honest, even those clips they released kind of dampened my anticipation anyway.

The only thing I have seen that I really didnt feel like it fit with the movie was the soundtrack. not a bad soundtrack it just didnt sound like it fit the movie. If that makes any sense. I like the special effects that are being used, I wish Medusa looked a little more wicked like 30 years ago, and Sam is cool, so I guess, for me, it boils down to actor performances, the flow of the overall movie and if the special effects stay good throughout the movie. offcourse if the 3D version of Clash is shitte then that will kill this flick as well as Louis's chances at directing The Avengers. If it dont make dollars then it dont make sense!

Thats been the biggest criticism, every review says that if you do see it, make sure you see it in 2D! Because they ruined the entire look by adding 3D. Apparently it hasn't even been color graded to suit the effect.

The thing with critics is that they are looking at this film from a professional point of view. They look at this film and ask themselves "Is this film Oscar-worthy, is it Golden Globe-worthy?" It's a professional opinion, and I think it honestly doesn't matter. The critics don't get to choose wether or not we see this movie, we should decide for ourselves. Don't look at the critic's opinion and think "Oh, they said it was terrible, I shouldn't see it!" But I'm sure you guys already knew all of that. Just saying.

are you guys serious? Now I'm nervouse to see it in 3D!
I was always against it being in 3D, cause they just tacked it on at the end..DAMN what should I do..
2D..or 3D..I gotta give an honest review, so I don't want to read any! I'm stuck!

It's definitely gonna suck in 3D, but I hope the overall movie isn't terrible. Though my confidence in it is not that high.

Airbeyonder, I get what your saying, but if you think all critics look at movies with such a high standard your very wrong. You honestly think the guys that write reviews for HotDog magazine will slate a movie if its not up to Oscar standard? Different critics review differently and I have learned to avoid or disregard the opinions of many, including Roger Ebert who hasn't given a movie a positive review since Citizen Kane. But there are 2 English magazines called Empire and Total Film which are generally fair enough with their reviews. Empire, usually the more harsh of the 2 gave it 3 stars and that reviewer was a girl who seemed more interested in Worthington's legs than with reviewing anything. TF, in a much more in depth review gave it 2 stars and gave very good reasons why. Check out Massawyrm over at AICN too, he's usually spot on. Of course, thats just in so far as my taste seems to be similar, obviously everyone's different. Bottom line is, most critics will be fair in judging a film based on its genre and what its setting out to achieve. After all, Avatar got 5 stars across the board and if thats not a popcorn movie I don't know what is.

i hope its great and we get sequels with creatures in it like hydras, chimeras, and trolls. also hope to see more gods in it like aries, posiedon, and some of the others. war of the gods sounds like a great title for the sequel or food of the gods something like that aries should be a main threat in the sequel.

I just saw it. I class it as a guilty pleasure. A film you go and see if you just want a good time. The script and acting arn't brilliant, but the action is good, if a bit short. There's a few nods to the original, and a few laughs. Basic storyline, but the continuity is good, and doesn't go off in random directions (eg ROTF). My main problem was it seemed quite short, and rushed at the end. But Ralph Fiennes was good, and there are some nice cameos. Don't go expecting much, just go to enjoy it.
