The Jason Momoa Quote of the Day

Jason wants to bring back his dead Game of Thrones character
“I wrote some scenes and they might try to use them,” Momoa reveals of his crafty plan. “George [R.R. Martin] can only write so much. Something could happen. Drogo could have a twin. You never know!” - courtesy of CNN

Incest Sex Scene

CRAVE Online: Because a lot of people in this movie, their stories are very serious. Hers is too, but for some reason she sort of comes in and vamps up every single scene. She has that really creepy scene with her dad…

Jason Momoa: Yeah…

CRAVE Online: It’s like, “Are they @#$%ing…?”

Jason Momoa: (Laughs, nods)

CRAVE Online: Once in a while there’s a moment in this movie where it feels like [the filmmakers] are trying to make Conan pretty likable. There’s that scene where [Anozie] talks about what a big heart you have, how loyal you are, and then there’s a scene where it’s like, “Is Rose McGowan @#$%ing her dad?!” It’s an interesting contrast. Did you want that contrast or were you focused on making your story really serious?

Jason Momoa: You know, when I saw it, it was creepy as @#$%. It’s creepy as %$#@, and that’s what you want, is creeped out…

I know Jason thinks of himself as quite the writer. He has already written a sequel to Conan which is getting poor reviews and may not make enough money to warrant a sequel, but he ambitiously wrote one anyways. Good for him, but the idead that he can rewrite Game of Thrones with a twin character just so he can comeback to the series is absurd. Is this guy for real? I like his always quotable statements, but this is laughable. This isn't Days of our lives Jason, this is Game of Thrones, get it together.

As for the incest scene, I guess it'll be the talk of the town once someone ventures to the theater to see it. I'm surprised they would go to that extreme level to make you hate the villain, but if you have an R rating, you best use it.

Starring Jason Momoa, Ron Perlman, Rachel Nichols, Stephen Lang, and Rose McGowan, Conan the Barbarian is set to be released in 2D and 3D on August 19th!
