That's right I said it, This will be the best Conan flick that was ever made. I say that with much respect to Arnold Schwarzenegger and those 80's Conan franchises they were great movies. I love and still watch each one of them, but in this day and age of makeup artist and special effects there is no reason why this version shouldn't be greater. I won't talk much about who is directing, writing, or producing...I would rather focus on the casting of their lead man.
Joesph Jason Namakaeha Momoa a.k.a Jason Momoa born August 1. 1979 in Honolulu Hawaii who in my opinion looks more like the Conan comic book character than Arnold Schwarznegger ever did. Conan looks more native american than German in all of the comics.
Not just the jet black hair but nose and cheek bones as well. Arnold just got the job because of his big muscles and his star power. I believe they put no real effort into casting. He did a great job they hit a homerun. But I am here to tell you that Jason Momoa will shock alot of people with his role as Conan in the 2011 release. I predict an epic classic, even a casual comic fan can see his likeness to the character, unless sticking to the comic book itself isn't as important as trying to capture that 80's Conan movie look.I'm sorry you can't make those Conan movies again...They were classic! but I believe that you can make them better. You heard it here first!The Conan Movie will be the 2011 movies DARK HORSE!
