Tarsem Singh has successfully made the worst movie ever based on on Greek/Roman legends/myths.The question begs - how are such budgets assigned to such nincompoops?

The dialogues were so childish at times, it made me want to s[racial slur] loudly in the movie hall. Read somewhere that Tarsem Singh in an interview said that the movie is partly based on Indian mythology and the story behind the festival of "Dussera". Cannot comment on that since it is a second-hand info. But totally based on the Theseus stories in Greek mythology, the movie also boasts of the worst Minotaur ever conceived in movie history. And the smallest and easiest to maneuver labyrinth.

In these times of great development in post-production in the movie industry with amazing motion graphics and special effects - The recent Tintin movie for example, which boasts of some of the best animation works in recent times (James Cameron, I'm sorry but it's true), Tarsem Singh has set us back 5 yrs which is equivalent to a century in the movie business.

Was everything bad? No. The editing was good and in some parts really good. But not enough to hold a movie together.

Now, getting to the main reason most people might go to watch "Immortals" - to check out the future Brit accented "Man of Steel", Henry Cavill. Welllll.... He's got the chin. And also the face (If you can get Christopher Reeves off your brain for a minute). The height and the build is definitely there. Can he pull off the red and blue suit? I definitely think so. Can he pull off Clark Kent's spectacles? Hmmmm. I cannot speak of a thespian's acting capabilities by watching "Immortals". It is said a good director can make a tree act. Tarsem Singh can make a tree cry by forcing it to watch his movie.

Before i forget anything else, Freida Pinto has to seriously learn to kiss. The girl is in her twenties and she still cannot kiss!!!!!
