Clash of the Titans Exclusive Clip

In “Clash of the Titans,” the ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.

Ok, this looks pretty good, BUT, what in Hades is with that accent? Seriously, is he playing Perseus as an Aussie? A Brit? An Irishman?..a mix of all 3? Anyway, best be something I get over pretty quick if I'm gonna enjoy this I guess.

I wonder what is left of the actual movie when you're finished watching all these clips and trailers.

I had to stop after watching two of them for fear of feeling like I lost money when I go see it in theaters.

But I must say this can go both ways as I see it. For Letteriers sake I really hope it succeeds both financially and critically. At least the big ass scorpions look great IMO...

MAN! His accent is so annoying! Can't he be perfect his craft like most actors & learn to get rid of it. Plus he's not that good of an actor.

This is looking like it's really going to be bad. An Australian Perseus? And that Medusa scene doesn't hold a candle to the creepy original. And please don't tell me that's supposed to be Calibos.

People are so caught up in his accent. You think if he had an american accent, nobody would notice? :)

He should have an English accent..not an attempt at an English accent with his Aussie accent slipping through. Lots of actors manage it, I don't see why he can't. It takes me out of a movie when I hear "Shrimp on the barbie" when I should be hearing bad ass line delivery.

Mixed feeling on this movie really - on the one hand it looks great...on the other, average at best. Letterier is a brilliant director though so I'm hoping he'll save this! Sam Worthington's appalling accent sure as hell wont! ;)

I think it looks great for what I read they were aiming to do. The wanted to make it look semi fake, like the original with claymation and puppets.

I don't like the music, wish every epic movie would just hire the God of War composer.

Im with you guys on the accent, but Sam is know for his warrior like roles. When he is playing the vengeance character he seems to be okay.

LOL he reminds me of the actor that played anikin. Badass sith when not talking, but crap in every other part. Avatar he did fine in because he had other great actors and a great director to aid him.
