Nicolas Cage returns as Johnny Blaze in Columbia Pictures' and Hyde Park Entertainment's Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. In the successor to the worldwide hit Ghost Rider, Johnny still struggling with his curse as the devil's bounty hunter is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Ciarn Hinds). At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.

Revealed by StarkIndustries.ru, these three Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance posters offer up a look at what could have been when it comes to the promotion of the movie - if they are in fact not fan made creations of course! It's just so hard to tell these days. What do you guys think? Sound off with your thoughts below.

They ran a contest to design posters, applicants were able to download materials, images, captions etc. I think these are entries

Fanmade or not, this sorry excuse for a movie has WAY too many [frick]ing posters. We're up to what... 17 poster articles for this "film"??? And that's just on this site. That's a ridiculous amount of promotion for such a flaming turd.

Seem legit, I think. I mean, I don't think any fan-made images can look THAT great - most possibly such images can only be made by the guys behind the movie. (Also, none of those images above were included in the stock images provided for the Face of the Fan contest, as far as I can remember. And if those are entries, how come none of them didn't win?) Only they're not used...perhaps those are early images, since the skulls aren't as dark as the final rendition that's seen in the movie, etc.

The movie still sucks, though.

I mean, the skulls in the posters overall do not resemble the one we see in the movie - not necessarily 'not as dark'. Ugh, I was messed up.

@GUNSMITH: To be honest it's a good thing they changed Blackouts powers and all that because a vampire can't stand light or fire. So if they would've went with the comic book version of Blackout, he wouldn't have been a formidable foe.

Also I'm writing my own Ghost Rider trilogy: The
villain(s) for the first will be Scarecrow and Snowblind, for the second it's Deathwatch as the main villain and Blackout as the secondary villain. The third and final film will have Centurious.

I honestly overall enjoyed the film did go in thinking it would be great like some surprises "x-men first class" but it was good for what it was. Reboot definitely needs to happen and johnny needs a better reason to sell his soul ive always dwindled on what if him and Roxanne walked into a bar while they were on a cross country bike trip and she ended up getting raped and him having to watch sure its like the crow but it beats the dad premise and would provide a more stable reason for coming back to kill some [frick]ers.
