G.I. Joe: Retaliation Gets a Singer and a Wolf?

We have a small G.I. Joe: Retaliation update to pass on that concerns a popular wolf, and perhaps a dance scene in the movie.

Singer Nikki Leonti will be performing a song for the G.I. Joe: Retaliation movie. The only question is, is it for the soundtrack or for an actual scene in the movie. According to a recent update, several dancers have been hired so it could be that we have a scene in the movie that takes place in a club, dance hall, etc...

Here is the tweet from Nikki.

I leave for New Orleans tomorrow to perform a song in the Gi-joe 2 movie! Costumes are ready! Bags are packed :)




We also have word that Snake Eyes favorite pet, could be making an appearance in the film. According to a recent tweet by Snake Eyes himself (Ray Park), Timber will in fact be in the movie. Taking a look at the tweet, Park drops several wink, wink, nod, nods that indicates the wolf will be seen in the movie.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation stars Bruce Willis, Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, Ray Stevenson, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Arnold Vosloo, Byung-hun Lee, RZA, and D.J. Cotrona and hits theaters June 29, 2012.

Cool. At least this is one is looking a little better than the last one. I just hope the characters more closely resemble the cartoons and comics. Not to the point of being silly mind you.

Pretty awesome if they do have Timber Wolf in the flick! If they do I hope they have at least a small nod in there as to how they befriended each other. Cool news!

I think the concept and the franchise of G.I JOE is great. The Rise of Cobra was a let down to me because it was so over the top and totally cartoony. If they can make a G.I. JOE that's grounded and believable that would be so hectic. So here's hoping that retaliation redeems this franchise.

Could she be playing pop singer Satin while Snake Eyes and Shipwreck are undercover. If they put in that scene from the Pyramid of Darkness where Sanke Eyes has to where 80's clothes and a wig it will totally make the movie worthwhile. I would pay money to laugh at that all night long.

However, who doesn't know its Snake Eyes with the mask on? I mean, who's really being duped?

This movie is going to suck. Channing Tatum runis every movie hes in. he cant act for shit...put it like this. Hes the male Megan Fox. Your gonna draw an auidence because hes a good looking guy, but when it comes to being in the main role, he just dosent have the chops to be a leading man.
Bruce Willis might have to save this one.
