Chris Pratt is probably no slouch when it comes to handling himself in a tussle, but challenging Dave Bautista to a wrestling match might be just a tad ambitious!
The Guardians of the Galaxy star appeared on The Late Late Show to promote Amazon's The Tomorrow War, and told host James Corden a very funny story about texting his costar one night after taking some pills to help him sleep. Pratt said he stopped taking the Ambien because it used to cause him to black out and forget certain things... such as telling a former WWE Champion that he thinks he'd take him in a wrestling match.
Apparently, Bautista approached him the next morning and asked about the text, and Pratt had to admit that he had no recollection of sending it.
"I look at my phone, it's a text like this long: 'Dave, I wanna wrestle. I wanna wrestle you, no one needs to know, but I just wanna know. I think I could take you. I think I could wrestle you, bro. Like, collegiate rules, no elbows no knees, I just want -- I wanna feel the power!'"
"Dave would kill me!" Pratt added with a laugh. "He is by far the toughest dude in all of Hollywood."
Luckily for Pratt, Bautista saw the funny side and didn't insist on taking him up on his offer!
