Designing Ego the Living Planet for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 had to have been a pretty intriguing job, and now Marvel Studios Concept Artist Andy Park has revealed a new look at what the movie's villain could have looked like.

Park shared an instagram image he created with the Werble app of how he originally envisioned Ego reconstituting himself after Star-Lord blasted him to pieces.

"Fun app to play with! It’s called Werble," Park wrote. "But this is actually how I envisioned this concept I painted up on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 for how Ego would reconstitute himself after being torn to pieces by Quill’s blaster blasts. Light dusts would form all around him and build him to human form again."

What do you think of this alternate version of Ego?
