Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 starts rolling out from Tuesday onwards before it reaches North America on May 5th, and The Hollywood Reporter has now revealed that it looks set to debut with upwards of $100 million this weekend. Among the biggest markets are the UK, Australia, France, and Mexico.

That's shy of Iron Man 3's $141.4
million, but much higher than Thor: The Dark World's $85.4 million and Guardians of the Galaxy's $64.6 million. This number will skyrocket next week not only when it reaches North America on Friday, but when the sequel debuts in North Korea, Russia, and China.

Despite some reviews for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 not being overwhelmingly positive, the movie still has a solid 85% on Rotten Tomatoes. Fans will no doubt flock to it regardless, and it's still entirely possible that it will ultimately gross upwards of $1 billion. Share your box office predictions below!
