Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has been out for a week now, but all everyone is still talking about is Baby Groot. Voiced by Vin Diesel, the pint-sized hero stole the show on a number of occasions. Now, concept artist Luca Nemolato (Westworld) has shared a couple of pieces from the sequel and it provides a detailed look at the adorable tree and the moss that grows out of his cute little head.

"Had a great surprise this Friday when I got my #Guardiansofthegalaxy #vol2 art book, and found some of the works I did for Baby #Groot Visual Development at #MethodStudios," Nemolato writes on his website. "Here some images from the book. I'm really honored to be included in a book with some of the most amazing artists in the industry." It's clear to see his work heavily influenced Baby Groot's appearance and hopefully, more pieces from the movie will be revealed over the coming months.

Also, sombrero with chips around the top and salsa in the middle. Having a midget, I mean "little person", wear it and walk around as an appetizer dish at my bday party. Good idea?

You reckon by the time Vol. 3 rolls around we'll be back to normal Groot? Cause I'd love it if they explored teenage Groot next time around (ala the post credits scene).

But I imagine we'll have the O.G Groot for Infinity War.

I was afraid they were gonna make baby groot an annoying and cringy little brat. Thank god they did not. He is lovable but often oblivious and pitiful. The scene where the Ravagers cruely toy with him is one of many scenes that put this movie above the first one for me when it comes to emotions.

So, if groot has eyes that look wet and liquidy, like human eyes, does he have organs? If so, does he have blood? because there wasn't any blood when Gamora cut off his arms in Vol 1...

Saw this movie today. Oh my God...My initial reaction is that the second one is better than the first Guardians for me. It hit me in the feels so many times and that was the most fun I've had at the movie theaters in a while. This is shaping up to be a great comic book movie trilogy. Definitely have to see that movie again ASAP.

Also a user pointed this out earlier this week. The first Guardian soundtrack is indeed better than this one however the songs for Guardians 2 played a lot better in this film during each scene.
