"Michael Myers kills babysitters, not kids."

While this actually has been the case with the Halloween franchise (for the most part) over the years, but we wouldn't go pushing our luck, young fella!

With Halloween Ends' release date looming, Universal Pictures (via FearHQ) has debuted a new "Final Reckoning" featurette spotlighting what is being billed as the last confrontation between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers.

Potential spoilers follow.

In addition to interview snippets with star Jamie Lee Curtis, the sneak peek includes some new footage from the horror sequel, and one shot, in particular, may confirm a pretty major plot detail that recently leaked online.

We're not going to go too in-depth in case you haven't checked out the (supposed) spoilers, but keep an eye out for a shot of Laurie and her daughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) standing side-by-side near the end of the video. It may seem fairly innocuous... unless you've read those leaks!

Check out the featurette below along with a new TV spot, which also contains a pretty telling glimpse of Laurie aiming a knife directly at the Boogeyman's face!

After 45 years, the most acclaimed, revered horror franchise in film history reaches its epic, terrifying conclusion as Laurie Strode faces off for the last time against the embodiment of evil, Michael Myers, in a final confrontation unlike any captured on-screen before. Only one of them will survive.

Icon Jamie Lee Curtis returns for the last time as Laurie Strode, horror’s first ‘final girl’ and the role that launched Curtis’ career. Curtis has portrayed Laurie for more than four decades now, one of the longest actor-character pairings in cinema history. When the franchise relaunched in 2018, Halloween shattered box office records, becoming the franchise’s highest-grossing chapter and set a new record for the biggest opening weekend for a horror film starring a woman.

“Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.”

After the shytefest of Halloween Kills I don't expect much. But after reading the "leaks" I can't help but feel sad about most modern films being nothing but cash grabs and disrespectful.

Kills was awesome and miles better than past Halloween sequels

As for the leaks that are being confirmed by promotional material🤔.....

I'll reserve judgment. It's all about execution 💪

@AmazingFILMporg - where did you see the leaks?

Like months ago on Reddit. They started leaking in February.

@AmazingFILMporg - Some may disagree with the top part.

@AmazingFILMporg - I'll see if I can find it on there. Thanks

Most won't💁.

Kills is better than H4,5,6, resurrection and zombies shit remakes😎

@AmazingFILMporg - literally had just watched this video. Thanks, porg 🙏🏽

@AmazingFILMporg - With respect, gotta HARD disagree with you on that. IV and Producer’s Cut of VI absolutely smoke kills and, bad as V is, it’s still leagues better than the entire second act of ‘Kills.’

@AmazingFILMporg - There is nothing AWESOME about this movie. Kills is a bland, ugly and boring piece of shit from a hack director.
Cant wait for his The Exorcist remake. Going from Friedkin to Godron Green could be the biggest drop in quality of all time.

Ok bye💁

@AmazingFILMporg - I think not that high a bar with 5/6/Ressurrections or the Zombie movies. Even the ones you cited aren't the only sequels.
dagenspear - 9/23/2022, 2:51 AM
@AmazingFILMporg - Who decides that?
TheShape9859 - 9/22/2022, 11:58 PM
Laurie's daughter Allyson???? No...Laurie's GRANDDAUGHTER Allyson. Good grief man....
