We recently got a first look at Jamie Lee Curtis (Laurie Strode) on the set of Halloween Ends, and producer Jason Blum has now shared an official behind-the-scenes photo of the Knives Out actress alongside co-stars Andi Matichak (Allyson Nelson) and Kyle Richardsm (Lindsey Wallace).

It looks like the three heroines are set to reunite some time after the horrific events of Halloween Kills, which saw Lindsey narrowly escape Michael Myers, and Allyson lose her mother (Judy Greer) at the hands of the seemingly unstoppable maniac.

The ladies appear to have stopped into the local Haddonfield watering hole for a few vinos... and to devise a plan to take down "The Shape" once and for all while they're at it.

Kills (you can check out our 3-star review here) was basically a showcase for Myers' relentless appetite for destruction, but Green revealed that Ends is going to take the story in a very different direction altogether during a recent interview with Empire.

“It’s kind of a coming-of-age film, and it’s a very different tone,” said the director. “That’s what excited me about it, is to have the three chapters that I’ve been involved in be very different from each other. They are all there to honor Carpenter, but aren’t necessary just emulating him.”

How do you guys see this new Halloween trilogy wrapping up? Be sure to let us know in the usual place.

Ends huh? Until when? Next Halloween?

@TheWalkingCuban - I suppose at least THIS continuity ends.
They can still reboot or go back to the original timeline post "Curse" with Paul Rudd or to the H20/Ressurection timeline with Josh Hartnett.

Either way I think Michael and Laurie will both die, the current timeline genuinely ends and any new installment will take place in another timeline...or they finally go with my "The Haunting of Michael Myers" idea, which will never happen

@Blergh - it’s such a cash cow they won’t leave it alone. Terminator, predator, alien, I don’t even think the matrix is truly done. They will probably say oh it’s a victim of Covid, let’s try again some other time but completely reboot it with new actors.

Then again I ain’t seen Jaws anywhere lately

@TheWalkingCuban - There was a 'Jaws' revival running it's circles a few years back as a theatrical release during shark week. So there might be yet another one coming our way at some point.

Obviously they won't leave Halloween alone, it's impossible to end the series. But THIS timeline as established in 2018 will certainly be brought to an ending this year.
We have a bunch of timelines established:

1. The Original Timeline (Halloween 1, 2, 4, 5 & 6)
2. The Season of the Witch (Halloween 3)
3. The H20/Ressurection Timeline (Halloween 1, 2, H20 & Ressurection)
4. The Rob Zombie Timeline (Rob Zombie's Halloween 1 & 2)
5. The Blumhouse Timeline (Halloween 1, Halloween 2018, Kills & Ends)

Horror franchises tend to have convoluted and idiotic timelines eaten up by reboots, revivals and blatant unrelated entries.

@Blergh - between this and Texas chainsaw as most lucrative. Sticking to slashers, not counting torture porn either, those two guys win, money wise, but none was BETTER in my opinion than new nightmare. It came out so soon after freddys dead that it seems like same timeline sometimes but it really ain’t and isn’t even a reboot. It’s unique. And very good.

The 2000’s Freddy never happened shut up.

@TheWalkingCuban - Actually my favourite Nightmare on Elm Street film, the meta-line the film towed between our world and the fictional world was amazingly written and I maintain that New Nightmare is Craven's best film ever made.

Part of me is glad they never made another NoES movie now that Robert is too old and Wes is sadly gone.
Only way I'd accept a new movie is if Robert at least voiced Freddy while a stuntman played the physical form.

@Blergh - Yeah it was the perfect ending, and it was the best movie because actually the idea of the movies is better than the movies, and this movie was all about the idea of the movies.

Since when was Halloween a comic book movie?
DudeGuy
DudeGuy - 1/27/2022, 12:42 PM
@DrSmoonk - because there are comics about it? Might be a reason why.

@OldMan - comics based on a franchise don't make it a comic book movie. If the comics come first, it's a comic book movie. Not the case for the other way round.

Kyle Richards is such a babe goddamn. I can’t believe she’s in her 50’s.

Also; stoked for this film! I enjoyed Halloween Kills and I’m looking forward to the Laurie/Michael showdown.
