There have been few successful trilogies where all 3 parts high praise. These few trilogies that are successful are the Toy Story Trilogy, Chris Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Lord of The Rings Trilogy, The Indiana Jones Trilogy, and the original Star Wars Trilogy (4-6). I recently have wrote 2 editorial articles about the up and coming Justice League movie. Those articles have had high praised that have been called, “a really cool article”, “Best Justice League article I've read. You're my hero”, “great article, good viewpoints, do more f these a lot better than some of the other bad editorials”, “Finally, an editorial that I can be excited about”, “Great article and well written” and a lot more. People have said my 2 articles and Tainted87’s “Breaking Into the Justice League” are the best articles on this site about the Justice League movie. After so much praise I decided to make one last article. In the first article “Editorial: 6 Ideas That I Have That Need To Be In The JUSTICE LEAGUE Movie And Will Make It Successful”, I talk about what needs to be a part of the Justice League film like who should produce it, direct it, tips on script. It was more based on what to do with the film than what I want to see in the film. The only point I made about the film is that I would like to see Darkseid as the villain. In my second article "EDITORIAL: The Pros And Cons of WB's Making The DC Movie Universe The Marvel Way and The Pros And Cons of Making The DC Movie Universe Starting With JUSTICE LEAGUE”, I discuss the pros and cons on if you do “The Marvel Way” to lead into the Justice League film and the pros and cons about starting with the Justice League film. This article discusses more about what I what to see in the film. Everything from scenes, moments, characters and other things I want to see in the Justice League movie. This will be my final editorial on the Justice League film as I have nothing else to say. Let’s get started.

1. Wally West Flash

You need to have one character on the team who can crack a joke in the face of danger. Batman doesn't do that, neither does Superman Wonder Woman or anyone else. In a League with an alien, a rich kid who dresses like a Bat, the King of Atlantis, a guy with a ring, a cyborg or martian, a woman from a distant world on Earth, you need someone to crack a joke and break the tension of the League. In the comics, right now we have the Barry Allen as the Flash but this needs to have Wally West. In the DC Animated Universe, Wally West was really the heart of the Justice League. In alternate universe, Lex Luthor kills the Flash leading to Superman to kill Luthor and the Justice League being called the Justice Lords all because of the death of Flash. The Wally West Flash could become a fan favorite.

2. Martian Manhunter or Cyborg And Their Origin

First off, sorry for the photo. It’s the only one I can find that shows both Cyborg and Martian Manhunter. Now it is doubtful that either J’onn or Cyborg will ever get a solo movie. They are probably the only member of the Justice League who won’t get a solo movie. You don’t really need to explain Batman or Flash or Wonder Woman or anyone else’s origin. Cyborg or Martian Manhunter or the only ones you need to tell in the movie. Depending on who you do, you really could have a origin story for both. In the New 52 Justice League first story which has Darkseid, it shows Cyborg’s origin. If you do Martian Manhunter you could do have a story based on the first episodes of the Justice League animated series where it had the White Martian invasion. It just depends which 7 member they choose.

3. Batman’s Disinterest In The League

The only thing about the Justice League is the Batman doesn't like it. In the animated series, Batman called himself a part-time member and only to call him when something important comes up. Batman is the only human in the Justice League and the story should play on with that. It’s important to show especially because if they do a sequel based on the Tower of Babel storyline, we how Batman is too over concerned about the Justice League and how he doesn't like the idea at all.

4. A Villain Superman Can’t Take Down But The Justice League Can

I have said this many times, we need a villain Superman can’t take down but the Justice League can. I have said and feel Darkseid should be the villain using the New 52 storyline. This is very important. People think why would Superman need help? He’s Superman, he can do anything. When it comes to the Justice League, Superman is the most powerful member. Having a villain that could take down Superman shows how even Superman needs help sometimes. Since you have to have a villain that could take down Superman but the Justice League you need to think who could this villain be? Lex Luthor isn’t a good villain because he might not be in the Man of Steel and it wouldn’t make sense to introduce a villain that is more of a Superman villain than a Justice League villain in the Justice League. The same can be said for Brainiac. Lobo has been rumored to be featured but Superman can handle Lobo by himself. The safest choice to go with would be Darkseid. He is a villain that could take down Superman. He is also a villain that has an army. The one thing I love about Darkseid in the Justice League more than Loki in the Avengers is that Darkseid isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. Loki wasn’t a physical threat like how Darkseid could be. Darkseid is a great villain also because most people know him. It’s not like your having a huge villain threat that all fanboys know of but people outside of comics don’t know of. (Yes I mainly copied and pasted this from my pervious article.)

5. The Government’s Disapproval Of The League

Unlike the Avengers, the Justice League came together by themselves. The Avengers came together through SHIELD. The Justice League didn’t come together through some organization. The movie needs to play on with how the government dislikes the Justice League through Amanda Waller. Amanda Waller needs to be in the movie. It doesn’t matter if it’s big or small but her role is pivotal. We need to see how the government views the JL as a threat.

6. Batman vs. Superman vs. Flash vs. Green Lantern

We need to have a scene where we see these guys just battle each other like how The Avengers did. Imagine Flash vs. Superman where Flash is so fast, Superman can’t lay a hit on him. A scene where we see Batman and Superman go at it. A scene with Green Lantern and Flash go after each other. We need these guys to fight against each other in a scene.

7. Each Character To Have Their Own Moment

One thing The Avengers did well is each character had their own moment in the film; you need this in the Justice League movie. It’s important also so people could be hyped for each character for a solo movie of the character.

8. Wonder Woman To Have An Important Role

This is a biggie. Wonder Woman is one of the biggest members of the League and this will be her first movie on the big screen ever. Wonder Woman needs to have a role really as big as Batman and Superman. She needs to also be the voice of reason mainly because she is a woman.

9. The Watchtower

We need a headquarters for the Justice League. The Hall of Justice is cool but we need to think bigger. Having the Watchtower would be epic. I really have nothing more to say on this. You tell me why we shouldn’t have the Watchtower? Huh, huh? That’s what I thought.

10. THIS FRICKING AWESOME BADASS SCENE

Do I really need to say anything after this? Come on you have to have this. Most people view Aquaman as a joke. He’s a guy that talks to fish. You need a moment like this to blow people out of their seats and left them breathless with Aquaman. This scene would shut up the Aquaman haters and make people love and want to root for Aquaman.

That is all I have left to say. These three article are all I have left to say on the Justice League movie. I can't wait if the movie comes. What do you think? Do you agree with my feelings or disagree? See you later. Peace.

Yes to Barry Allen, no to Wally West. No to Darkseid.
Also, you don't go into any detail on why it should be Wally West. I really like the article overall. As I've said before It would be wise to save Darkseid for a third movie. You can't rush straight into them facing him. You need to build into him. I'm not saying to do exactly what Marvel is doing, but you can't jump right into the biggest baddie there is. I don't have high hopes or any real expectations for the film, I hope it's good because as much as I dislike DC (I'm Marvel since the day I was born) I really would like to see Justice League and have it work. I'm still of the opinion if it does work, it won't be the success Avengers is despite being a mix of A and B listers while Avengers are B list characters.

Again, I really like the article but I say Yes to Barry Allen, no to Wally West and no to Darkseid (for the first movie)

I love all your points. But I think Barry Allen should be flash. Green Lantern AND Flash should make jokes, but Green Lantern more than Flash. Similar to the new 52 JL. I think that the fight scene should be Superman vs Batman, Flash, and Green Lantern. I also think that Cyborg should be in the first and Martian Manhunter and Green Arrow should appear in the second.

JLA 1
Heroes=Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash (Barry Allen), Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Aquaman and Cyborg
Villains=Darkseid, parademons

JLA 2
Heroes=(Heroes from previous film), Martian Manhunter and Green Arrow
Villains=White Martians

JLA 3
Heroes=All heroes above
Villains=Lex Luthor (battle suit), Deathstroke, Cheetah, Zoom, Sinestro, Black Manta, Deadshot, Metallo, Lex Luthor robots

^^^ I agree with everything before mentioning Cyborg over Martian Manhunter, after that it fell flat to me.

Cool.
While I do like Wally a lot more than Barry, the animated series made him a whole lot goofier and more likeable than Wally actually is in the comics. You could reasonably write Barry in the same capacity - especially since Wally actually assumed Barry's role in nearly every scenario in JL and JLU.
Really, I only have two people in mind for Flash, and neither one will likely play him. One just starred in a time-traveling thriller, while the other stars alongside Cobie Smulders in a sitcom. I think Neil Patrick Harris would probably be too old, although he is in great shape.

I don't collect a lot of television series, and I don't even watch tv or read comics anymore - but among Firefly, the first season of Heroes, and the Walking Dead.... is the entire Justice League series from start to finish. It really is my favorite animated series, even surpassing Batman TAS by a small margin.

That said, it has its flaws. I've already elaborated on Martian Manhunter origin, so I'm not going to take that one further - although it is worth noting that JLU got me into the character. What it got right, however, among many things, is that the Justice League don't just face off against threats that are out of this world, and the more interesting ones are actually restricted to Earth.

Let's explore something that happened in "Justice League: Doom", for example, which is LOOSELY based off of Tower of Babel. The entire Justice League is defeated.

*Mirror Master tricks Flash into opening a box, which bolts a bomb through his wrist. This could be done by FedEx.
*Cheetah scratches Wonder Woman with a nano-virus. This could be done by an anonymous passerby.
*Malefic orders a drink laced with magnesium for the Martian Manhunter before lighting him on fire. This could be done by a waitress.
*Metallo shoots Superman with a kryptonite bullet. This could be done by anyone proficient with firearms.
*Bane buries Bruce Wayne in a coffin. This could be accomplished by a groundskeeper.
*Star Sapphire poisons Green Lantern with a fear toxin and demoralizes him. This could be done by a drug dealer.

I mean sure, everyone is in the right place at the right time, although some have layers of subterfuge disguising the traps - point is, it is nothing Lex Luthor couldn't do himself. Not to say I want to see Lex do those things - he wouldn't get his hands dirty, but you understand my point, I'm sure.

As I said, I don't buy comics these days, so I don't know anything about whats going on with the New 52... what happens with Darkseid?

Wally isn't a jokester in the comics. Therefore, Barry before Wally.

What if Superman was the "villain"? It would certainly light a fire under everyone's asses to start their crazy experiments, hit squads, contingency plans, etc... and it would give all the characters a punching bag of sorts to demonstrate their capabilities.

Of course, we'd find out that he wasn't really himself, and that a bald Clancy Brown had privately funded a group of individuals to drive Superman "crazy". Just... no straightening the Torre di Pisa, or blowing out the Olympic torch.

Don't you think Bruce Willis may not make the best of all Flashs? Sure he's not bad, but I was thinking someone a little younger, maybe Joseph Gordon-Levitt for instance. (Yes, I do originally know you were suggesting him)

But very well done again LEVITIKUZ with the article. However I digress with Darkseid as the villain. There are plenty of better villains to use for the first one other than relying on the best punch. Unless of course we're planning to have Justice League as just its own movie with no sequels or spin-offs. But I think it'd be classy to have Lex Luthor fight the League somehow, maybe have him somehow hypnotised forcing the opposing heroes banding together to stop the threat of the indestructible alien. With them afterwards all facing Lex Luthor in his battle suit and them having problems working as a team still as well as Luthor's battle suit being a match for them all.

Or we could have them already banned together?
Just mi two cents.

So what is your idea for Darkseid in the trilogy? I was original gonna object to Darkseid being used in the first Justice League film, but you said you had ideas for him in a trilogy. Me curious. Also, I think after whatever threat is defeated, the heroes have come together and the media names them the Justice League, the film could end with the film's (hopefully) epic score playing while we see Bruce and some other people (I don't know) going through blueprints that has a design that looks suspiciously like the Watchtower.

Yes, that was a very, very, very good episode. To be fair, I wouldn't be to pissed if they went the route of Twilight, but I personally would lifeDarkseid should actually solve the Anti-Life Equation in the third film(which I'd like to see split into 3 parts) and have it act as a force of nature Darkseid can control.

Also, for the film's climax, the I'd like to see Superman and Batman confront Darkseid.

Anyway, you know that episode of the Superman Animated Series where Superman places his hands over Darkseid's eyes as he's about to use the Omega Effect?

Batman shoots Darkseid with Radion bullet, he succumbs to the poisoning, Superman places his hands over his eyes as he's about to use the Omega Effect. Big BOOM. That essentially kills him, but not before he take Batman down with him via Omega Beams.

This article won me over the moment it called for Wally West as Flash.

Yes! Thank you!

This isn't the comics, it's a movie. They aren't gonna necessarily have different generations or whatever. Go with the best at first, Wally West. He has a personality.

That is why they picked him for the Animated Universe, and it worked out so well.

Besides, for the Avengers film, would you really have preferred if Captain America, Black Widow and Hawkeye got replaced by the bug couple? Would you prefer Iron Man to have the crap ancient suit?

No.

Go with what's best. and Wally is the best Flash.

---

As for the rest of the article.

2. Agreed. But maybe they could do away with the origins in someone else's solo film?

3. Yes! Batman should not be the SHIELD of DCU, as some have suggested. He is Batman, stay true to his character.

4. I'm kinda mixed about this. One one hand, Darkseid is a perfect villain for the Justice League. But on the other hand, how do you follow up? Eh, for now, Darkseid is a great villain.

5, 6, 7, 8. Agree 100%

9. I'm thinking that the first film should really more be about them coming together. Maybe Batman's last scene after winning could be saying to only call him when he is needed now. Once they have come together, maybe they can introduce the Watchtower in the second film.

10. Absolutely.

Yeah, but he has a personality. Barry Allen does not.

Besides, there is no problem in borrowing from the cartoons if they did something right.

You're a [frick]ing idiot. You're sure as shit no Marvel fan, child. A true Marvel would respect DC enough for it to want to succeed with it's Cinematic Universe. You're some immature little brat who watched the Avengers and thought "Bwwwaaaah i am a murvel fan fak DC".

1. The Avengers was not all serious or over pretentious, and it was good to have the humour. Why have a team of over serious heroes? We need a light hearted optimistic one, to heart of the team.

2. DC copying Marvel. Oh wow. I may prefer Marvel, but I can acknowledge they've ripped off DC multiple times. Hell, even their shared Universe idea is sort of copying what DC did with their DC Animated Universe.

Okay, Darkseid pre-dated Thanos by 3 [frick]ing years. In fact, Thanos was originally meant to be a Metron rip off, before the creator of Thanos was advised to rip off the really, really good New Gods character; Darkseid. Darkseid came first, deal with it, you annoying shit.

3. More ignorance. I ain't a fan of Aquaman, but he ain't lame. Another bullshit misconception, like people saying Superman was "lame and overpowered and boring" based on the films when he was very interesting and good in the comics. Look at the artwork, he takes out a shit load of Parademons with giant great whites.

Piss off, you annoying and immature idiot. The Avengers was great, but you are clearly not a fan of either Marvel or DC, some immature child that saw something he liked and is hating whatever the competition has. Oh, and yes, and Justice League film wouldn't be a rip off either, as it pre-dates both the Fantastic Four, and the Avengers.

So, go away child, your opinion is not wanted. Oh and one more thing, you don't have to right to refer to this user of all people as "kid" in such a condescending tone. Goodbye, you fool, I'll leave you to rage now.

Before I say anything, I would just like to say that this was an impressive article, but it would seem that some of the points included seem a little... Off. I think that they shouldn't include too many JLA characters because how would all of them get screen time. Also, I doubt that the movie will come out before the possible sequel to The Avengers, where it's rumoured that they are to include THANOS (following from the end credits) who is in a way similar to Darkseid, due to there personalities and and want for power. As I had said, this was a great article, but some things would seem like DC copying Marvel.

A joke? Condescending to this user and continously hating on DC and the Justice League like an immature brat? Ha. Ha. Ha. Stop making excuses, grow up, and fine, share your opinion, but back it up. Stop making these statement and hating on something over and over without backing it up.

I think a good epic trilogy of JL could be:
1. Loosely based on the New 52 origin
2. Loosely based Tower of Babel
3. A 2 part loosely based on Kingdom Come and The Dark Knight Returns whit Lex Luthor president.
XavierLehnsherr

10 Things the JLA movie needs:

1. No Batman

2. No Superman

3. The real original members (Wonder Woman, Aquaman, GL, Flash, Black Canary, Manhunter, founded by Green Arrow)>
4. Story - JLA Year One mixed with JLA Tower of Babel, with founder Green Arrow in the role of Batman, in one way bringing them together, but in another way bringing them closer to him so he can make sure he can learn, for the safety of the planet, how to nuetralize any of them. Then use the Starro from Smallville as a plot device for this story, to be faithful to the original JLA comic's run-in with Starro as their first villian. Maybe mix in a little New Frontier by making Starro only the first of a large alien invasion.

4. Me as the writer.

5. Mixed race main characters (Bollywood/Persian Wonder Woman, Asian Flash, Latin Lantern, Black Aquaman, since these characters haven't made it big in the mainstream media as Superman and Batman, whose characters and races you can't mess with. They're not in my version anyway).

6. Matching outfits with a red, black, and silver theme, similar to Thor's costume in the Marvel movies.

7. All actors unknown in America but very famous in other countries.

8. Connect with The CW'S Arrow. Let that actor be in this movie as its Green Arrow.

9. No dual identities. In my world there are no secret identities. You don't see cops, firemen, or doctors with secret identities IRL, so why should fictional heroes?

10. All DC comic books will be canon with these movies. It would resuscitate the comics industry if people knew they had to buy the comics to see more or to see the whole story.

This is the dream scenario, if I owned all things DC.
