First Look At Shazam In JUSTICE LEAGUE: WAR Animated Feature

Justice League: War is based on Geoff Johns and Jim Lee's first Justice League arc in DC's "The New 52" continuity. However, there will be one major difference to the comic that this animated feature.

When it was revealed that Shazam would replace Aquaman in the animated adaptation of Geoff Johns and Jim Lee's first Justice League arc in "The New 52", the news was met with a mixed response from fans. The promise of an Aquaman solo feature put minds at ease, but it was still a hard pill to swallow for some. Regardless, after the recent unveiling of Wonder Woman's new look in DC's animated universe (which received a reboot of sorts after The Flashpoint Paradox), we now have a first look at Shazam (voiced by Sean Astin) in the movie. What do you guys think?

Don't really see the need for Shazam because of Superman and Wonder-Woman. This should been just the New 52 JL and included Aqua-Man instead.

Wouldn't the hood make sense since Shazam is basically a little kid who's probably trying to look cool as a hero? Pretty excited for this film, have yet to see a DCU Animated film that's bad.

^ Chill dude! I'm pretty pissed about that too but they've hinted that an Aquaman film is in the works, so just be patient cause Aquaman will get his and I'm sure it'll be awesome!

As long as they give a legit reason for why he not helping the JL
Maybe the reason he's not there gets expanded on in his solo film ?
Hopefully they do the trench storyline, or even the current story arc and explain what happened after the last big cliffhanger in Aquaman !

@ CeltiC527 I understand that there is "Supposedly" an Aquaman film in the works but
1) I don't like them screwing with this story, the first six JL's were probably some of the best things I've ever read and them booting Aquaman out is kinda like a big punch to the balls to him and the fans who wanted to see him in this movie.
2)The Aquaman solo movie is not confirmed and even if it is happening it is several years away. Why wait when he should have been included here in this stupid movie.
3) Soooooo wtf are they going to do with Shazam?
4) Aquaman would get more exposure in A JUSTICE LEAGUE movie, people could see how awesome he is and THEN show interest in an Aquaman solo film, I feel this is basic marketing and would work so much better.
End of story I don't like it at all and I'm not excited for this anymore...I love all the heroes but the fact that they're intentionally screwing with it is BS

I'm sure they'll introduce Aquaman in another JL movie, concerning the whole Atlantean invasion story in the comics.

I'll take Aquaman over Captain marvel/ shazam any day. And dammit he better be in the damn JL movie. I want to see tidal waves and sea monsters from the king of Atlantis on the big screen.
