Yuri Lowenthal has become best known for his work in Insomniac's Spider-Man franchise in recent years, but the actor was given the opportunity to take a deep dive into the DC Universe with Injustice.

It's already been confirmed that he'll lend his voice to Mirror Master, The Flash, and Shazam, but during our chat with Lowenthal, he revealed two secret roles that aren't listed in the credits. That's because neither of them has a significant number of lines, but they're still two noteworthy characters! Be warned, however, as some potential SPOILERS for Injustice do follow from this point on.

"I’m a comic book nerd from way back and this is my greatest joy. Whenever I get on a project like this, I have this imaginary checklist and I’m saying, ‘Okay, Mirror Master? Check. Shazam? Check,'" the actor told us over the phone late last week. "I’m checking off the iconic heroes I grew up with and while I’m not credited because they don’t have actual dialogue, I also technically, in Injustice, play Atom when he screams inside Superman’s brain as he’s destroyed as well as Deathstroke in the Arkham Asylum brawl [Laughs]. So, I really racked up a lot in this one."

When we pointed out how crazy it is that people might never know it was him bringing both Atom and Deathstroke to life in the movie, he admitted to forgetting those lines had ever actually been recorded. "Honestly, I had forgotten [Laughs] that I had done them until I was watching the film a couple of days ago!" Lowenthal added. "I went, ‘Oh wait, that sounds familiar!’"

Injustice is set to be released on October 19, so there's not long to go until you can hear Lowenthal's five roles for yourselves. Check back here on Tuesday morning for our full interview with the actor.

I didn’t enjoy it. Just my opinion but I didn’t like the voice actors for Batman and Superman and I wasn’t a fan of the animation.
