JUSTICE LEAGUE: Zack Snyder Reveals One Major Change He'll Be Making To His Version Of The Film

Zack Snyder is currently hard at work finishing off the "Snyder Cut," but the filmmaker has taken the time to tell fans one major change he plans on making to the DC Comics adaptation. Check it out...

Joss Whedon made so many changes to Justice League that it's impossible to be 100% sure what Zack Snyder's version of the movie looked like, but the early trailers did provide at least some clues. In the final battle, for example, the sky was supposed to be an alien blue colour, but The Avengers helmer changed that and bathed the characters in an "Apokoliptian" red.

Previously, Justice League cinematographer Fabian Wagner has confirmed that the decision to make everything red came about after Whedon took charge, but if the Vero exchange below is any indication, Snyder plans to restore the final act to how it was supposed to look.

Why is the colour of the sky a big deal? Well, common sense says that Snyder wanted to save those red skies for when Darkseid invades Earth, and it's definitely interesting to think about how many other visual changes like this he plans on making. For the most part, though, fans are anxious to see how the story transforms (something tells us that Russian family will be M.I.A.).

Check out Snyder's comments below, and stay tuned for more on his version of Justice League!

I honestly don’t get all the complaints for this. Granted BvS/JL were shit, and this probably won’t be much better, but it’s not any of your money being spent on it and this one actually has a huge fanbase calling for it. Plus not as if we’re getting a new JL anytime soon so why not

Now if Ayer gets his Suicide Squad cut, that’s a different story..

@Cap1 - Huge fanbase? According to who? His huge fanbase hasnt helped any of his films becoming a hit for over 10 years.

Legend of the Guardians, Sucker Punch, Watchmen, MOS, BvS, JL. Where was his huge fanbase there. Nolan has a huge fanbase and he can put out box office hit regarding the concept of his films.

Snyder has an extremely obnoxious and LOUD fanbase, not huge.

@KiranSolus - Should've worded that better, I meant there is a huge fandom for the Snyder Cut, people who wanted that. And that you can't deny, since it literally lead to the film being released (next year). Wasn't shouting that got them that.

Doesn't really work comparing him to Nolan, since he's pretty much incomparable with everyone.

@Cap1 - Oh, i can deny it. The ONLY reason this cut is ever getting released is because WB was completely blndsinded by disney+ and they rushed HBO MAX to compete without having an ounce of original content and streaming contracts for many of their top movie up in the air.

They managed to get the Harry Potter streaming rights in the last second. This cut isnt because fans were shouting from the rooftops, it's because WB botched the HBO MAX launch and they are desperate for ANYTHING.

@KiranSolus - I think them buying billboards in Times Squares and flying lanes with banners probably helped a bit. Granted, what you said about them buying it is probably true, they were desperate. But saying it had nothing at all to do with the fans is ludicrous n dim

Always loved the red skies in DC stories, they are very ominous and usually carry a deeper meaning (mainly the Bleed/Crisis type of event etc) but it F*CKING SUCKED in JL.

So i dunno...pity, could've fixed that...

Snyder inability to actually process any of the critisisms for his films because he is constantly jerked off by his minority of a cult is what has soured me towards him as a film maker.

That plus the fact that he is an incompetent stoyrteller.

@BuzzKillington -

But in all honesty it will look a little less green screeny I guess.

@BuzzKillington - it looked pretty green screeny before the change to red... but I guess you’ll be able to make out less of what’s on the screen.
