ROGUE ONE's Ben Mendelsohn Rumored For JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK Villain

Yesterday's big rumor claimed Warner Bros. was keen on the likes of Ron Perlman for Swamp Thing, Colin Farrell for John Constantine, and Monica Bellucci for Madame Xanadu in the planned Justice League Dark movie (currently dubbed Dark Universe), and today we have word on which actor could well be on their radar to play the film's baddie.

Heroic Hollywood has heard that the awesome Ben Mendelsohn - who'll also appear in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story - is being eyed for Swamp Thing's arch nemesis, Anton Arcane. Apparently he's interested too, but his decision is dependent on who ends up sitting in the director's chair. Of course Guillermo del Toro was set to helm the movie at one point, but since he departed we haven't had any solid info on whose being lined up to replace him.

Like yesterday's report, this is just a rumor for now, but I can't imagine there'd be too many complaints if Mendelsohn ended up playing Arcane. Sound of with your thoughts on this in the usual place.
