WB Reportedly Has No Plans To #ReleaseTheSnyderCut Despite Support From JUSTICE LEAGUE Cast

Today saw Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and director Zack Snyder himself publicly show their support for the "Snyder Cut" of Justice League. However, according to insiders, no official announcement is imminent.

The #ReleaseTheSnyderCut hashtag gained a lot of traction today, with Justice League stars Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck and director Zack Snyder himself lending their voices to the movement. This type of attention has led to speculation that Warner Bros. may finally be about to make some sort of official announcement relating to the fabled "Snyder Cut" of the movie, but, alas, that doesn't appear to be the case.

According to THR's insiders, "no announcement is imminent." That doesn't mean that it won't happen at some point, but it looks like today's groundswell of support may simply have been an attempt to let the studio know how many passionate fans are chomping at the bit to find out what Snyder's original vision for these iconic DC heroes would have looked like before Joss Whedon stepped in to complete the film.

We'll just have to wait and see if WB responds. In the meantime, former President of DC Entertainment Diane Nelson Tweeted the following just a few minutes ago.

They don't want to release a rough cut with incomplete effects that was never meant for public consumption, of one of the most expensive movies of all time that bombed at the box office.

Yeah, we should all be shocked. No amount of harassment from fanatics is going to make WB complete and release this film, unless the Snyder Cult can go back in time and make Justice League not be a flop.

Virtually every official source has stated that the Snyder Cut is a rough cut that doesn't exist in any releasable form. No one ever said that there is a 100% fully finished movie just waiting to be released. Willfully ignorant Snyder fanatics misinterpreted that for themselves.

@BuzzKillington - it's funny how everybody involved with DC and these movies have suddenly started posting about the Snyder cut just before promotions for WW84 and BoP are about to start next month.

It's almost like they want to build up the DC hype.

Considering the Snyder Cut was never completed, I'm going to laugh if they re-release the theatrical cut with a few Snyder scenes thrown in there and call it the "Snyder Cut" to shut people up.

The movie is dead...Has been for a couple of years...It’s not anywhere near as complete as pro Snyder cut fans want to think it is, and it’s obvious at this point that WB doesn’t want to dump even more money into for another release...

Maybe in a couple of decades somebody will put together a documentary on it 🤷‍♂️...
